TAKING FOREVER TO PROCESS RETURN!!!
Why is it taking HSN so long to process returns??? I’ve been waiting wks.for one item to be processed.
This is a job for someone (or someone’s) – if they need to hire, hire!!! Making customers wait an inordinate length of time for returns to be processed is not good for any mail order business – get it together, HSN!!!!!

I’m hoping that my return will be processed within a timely manner. I’ve been nervous because the item I returned was an exchange. So, I’m afraid that if they don’t process my return right away that they will say that I didn’t return my item within the timeframe. Then I’ll be charged for it. I mailed back my item right away and now just have to wait and see how long it takes them to process it. Even sent them an email with the tracking number so that it was on record. But I have had to write to them (several times) in the past and tell them that my returns were received and just sitting there. I’ve had returns just sit there for several weeks without any sort of acknowledgement on the return. Seems like they don’t have enough people working in the return center or something. But if it’s been a while I would definitely contact customer service (do a live chat or call them) and provide them with the tracking number showing it was delivered. They should be able to help you with a refund for the returned item. Sometimes they can manually process the refund for you.

It may depend on the carrier. I just ret’d and item via fed-x and it was credited back within 24 hrs. of receipt. However, if I use USPS, it can take a while. Also, it may depend on the distribution center of a particular item.

I’m sorry your return is taking longer than expected, @salemiere. Which order have you returned?
