Retail Therapy with Val
The program probably has good possibilities and I like Val as a host, but I have to say I don’t think much of the title. There is nothing therapeutic about Retail Therapy. As a matter of fact, it can lead to all kinds of problems if not controlled. I would have chosen another title for her new program.

Valerie needs to go away…. she acts like an annoying, unprofessional, self-centered, loud mouthed, attention greedy, ignorant teenager. Enough is enough !!!!!

I rarely get that annoyed when hosts are presenting products. They are only sales personnel trying to make a sale. Today, Valerie made a degrading remark regarding those customers that still use corded vacuums. Well, let me inform her of something. I have been using two corded Oreck Vacuums since the days they were presented on QVC way back in the 90’s. Never had a problem with them except to replace the brush head. I purchased a Shark Cordless vacuum a couple of years ago that broke within six months. I also purchased a Bissell Airram that is cordless. I had it about four months. It does a pretty good job, but no better than my corded vacuum. Point being I recognize the convenience of cordless items, but convenient is not always better. Oh, and by the way, she referenced corded telephones. I have both corded and non corded phones in my home. Emergency personnel recommended corded telephones in the event cell phones are inoperable. I never have to worry about a connections when using my corded phone. These are my observations from her presentation. If I were she, I would worry less about making those kind of comments and worry more about presenting the needed information for product sales.
