No sound on videos
There has been NO sound on video replays for WEEKS, what is going on! HSN needs revamp the IT department. It’s very annoying and limits sales. I’m not the only one complaining, please step up.

If anyone else reading this thread has similar issues, please provide the internet provider, (spectrum, wow, etc,) item number(s), device information, and whether you are using the app or the website directly in browser (also the specific browser if so.) We are monitoring this thread and providing this information to I.T. to try to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Hi @tlouiset & @bunnydoodle. I share in your frustration with this, and I am very sorry it has yet to be resolved. I tried recreating this issue by hovering over the prerecorded video’s on HSN.com, the icon shows at the top of that same video.
To help us figure out what’s going on, any information you can or have provided will be helpful in that research. Are you on our website or on social media? Please specify which one. What device & which browser are you utilizing, and what other devices or browsers have you tried? Also, if you can please share exactly which items or video(s) you are unable to hear the audio in. This information is needed for us to troubleshoot the concerns on our end.
You might also consider uninstalling the App if you’re on it and reinstalling it again, clearing your web browser & cookies and then power off the device for five minutes. This can help things run more smoothly when shopping online by forcing through updates required to run. Speaking of updates also be sure your device is updated as this can cause these issues as well. Hi Kymberlie, thank you for trying to help solve this very frustrating problem that has been going on for weeks now. I am on the HSN.com website. I am using an I Pad pro device and my browser is Chrome. Here are. Some item numbers, 915-604, 923-727 and 920-131 but the problem exists for ALL new video replays on single item viewing. I have no problem watching single items on old videos or watching an entire video from the program guide that I’ve missed. They all have sound. New videos on single items no sound just close caption.
I hope someone can figure out what the issue is. Thanks again!

This is happening to me as well. Using Kindle, On HSN website and have no icon for volume. I have volume on live presentation NOT when i watch previously recorded presentation. I have icon on QVC, and i can listen to a YouTube video without problem. Very specific to HSN. this has been going on for at least a month. Help. Thanks- tricia

There is still NO sound on current video replays, only close caption. Please , Please fix this. You have finally added video replays for past programs on the program guide can you now fix individual video replays on single items. Old videos play normally with sound. The new videos play without sound only close caption. I can’t watch the items I’m interested in because I need to be reading the script. This has been going on for weeks. Someone please step up and do your job.! Thanks
