
Linking Pre-Existing Customer Data w/ Newly Created Online Acount
I’ve placed various HSN orders throughout the years via phone. Just recently, however, I created an online account with the exact same info used for my orders (name, address, phone, etc.). Unfortunately, however, when I click on “past orders” it says “none”. Foolishly, I thought my online account would automatically populate with my pre-existing customer data through some sort of backend database reconcilation process. WRONG. IDK,maybe I’m missing something, but I just don’t understand why HSN doeson’t offer the ability to link an existing customer account number to your online account, either during initial setup or somewhere post setup like in your profile info. Is it a security thing? What I do know is now I have no option but to call customer service which undoubtedly will be the highlight of my day.

Hi @gmarain, I am sorry that another online account was created for you. When you log into your account to access the Community, it should have prompted you to create a nickname. However, if you place an order with the account you created, it should merge them on the back end so you can see your orders.
