Hold on a canceled order
I attempted to purchase something in flex pay nearly 5 days ago and was denied the flex pay and it canceled my order but they still have a hold on my $162.03!!! I’ve talked to my bank multiple times and they said HSN is the one that has to remove the hold, but HSN refuses and says it’s a bank issue. I want my money back now and I am in touch with my lawyer about further legal action for HSN and their scammy ways!!

I’m sorry for the concern this has caused, @kyleh95. When an order is first submitted, the cost of the order (or the first FlexPay installment) is immediately set aside from the balance of your card – by your card holder – for the pending purchase. Once the order has been canceled, we immediately notify your financial institution. However, the reserved funds are typically released by your card holder within 3 – 7 Business Days.
I would like to clarify that no money has been sent to us for this order. Money is only sent to us once an order ships out. It is your bank holding the funds at this time.

My bank is told me tell me time again it’s you guys that are holding my money and again this morning I called and they still have told me that it is HSN has my money and has to release it!!!

I’m sorry about the information being confusing, @kyleh95. Again, funds are set aside by your financial institution for this amount, and HSN has received none of those funds. I assure you that HSN put in the reverse authorization immediately. It is still pending with your financial institution. I have gone a step further by putting in a request for our Customer Accounts team to fax your bank directly to tell them to release these funds. Please allow up to three days for this process.
