Grammatical Errors in Trivia Answers
When it comes to Friday night trivia, how are we suppose to figure out answers, if the person who creates the questions/answers think it’s hilarious to enter an answer that is “grammatically incorrect”? This is trivial, but don’t think it is fair/right. I learned in school how to spell and put spaces where they belong, I didn’t learn how to read people’s minds.

Simple, I want to start off by saying I agree with you in the answers to the Trivia questions. There are times that they are mine boggling and even incorrect. It does bother me that the people who are part of the Arcade team do not do their homework. However, some of the fun is trying to come up with the correct response. Yes, Sarah Anderson should have been two words instead of one. But think of it this way. If you were doing a Crossword Puzzle or a Word Game of some sort, you would have combined both those names as one. I remember as a child trying to fit the answer into that one tiny box, not realizing that there were other boxes to fill with other letters.
The Trivia Game is meant to be fun with some laughs and smiles along the way. We are not at someone’s home playing the game where you can watch the expressions on your friends faces as they try to answer the question. Yes, some of us have graduated from high school and college where we learned what is grammatically correct. But, in this instance we are not here to judge, but rather to have some fun. Part of the fun is to think out of the box. As a group we all take part in coming up with that correct answer. Later we all laugh. And, sometimes, that same laughter can carry you into the following week. What is most important is the laughter, the camaraderie, and putting the problems from the week behind you for just a few hours.
