Free shipping coupon

I just tried ordering the Diamond Press Advent Calendar. I tried to use the free shipping coupon for HSN cardholders. This was the second time I used the coupon. The coupon terms says it is a multi-use coupon. Before submitting the order the shipping was taken off of the order, but after submission the shipping charges were on the order. I went ahead and cancelled the order for the Advent Calendar, but I was wondering why shipping was applied after I submitted the order. Thank You.

My personal experience is that the error would be fixed within a couple of days. I was once charged shipping on a Free Shipping day and it was credited back a couple of days later without me doing anything or calling anyone.
