
Extended Delivery
Twice now, I have ordered something and been told “IT’S YOURS” in the initial order email and then I get another notice that it’s on “EXTENDED DELIVERY” and not available, THEN I see the hosts STILL SELLING THE ITEM on air. When I checked twice during the on-air presentations, the items were NOT marked as EXTENDED DELIVERY. THEN, after 45 days my items have been canceled, when the items are STILL being sold on TV and marked available. I find this very deceptive. Has this happened to anyone else? Specifically, I ordered the Dolly Parton perfume with the roller on auto-ship TSV, and now I’m told it’s on extended delivery (VERY FIRST AUTOSHIP) AND the item is no longer appearing online as a purchase. If you’re out of something, please do the right thing and tell us so we can change our order and get something else, especially if it’s for a gift. Thank you.

Same issue with Tarte beauty set. No notification it was on extended delivery until order was placed, still being sold on TV, and now the extended delivery date I was originally given has passed and still no shipping notice. WAs supposed to be a Christmas gift, ordered the first week of November-should’ve been fine, but now I will need to cancel. This is my first experience with HSN and although other items have arrived as expected, this experience is making me wary of ordering anything that I can’t wait weeks to receive. I believe better communication is needed.

I am going through the same problem with placing an order, but never mentions that is on “Extended Delivery.” I had to wait several weeks after that original delivery date. They need to change that information. They deduct the first payment, but delivery is not expected by the customer as stated. I have this problem recently with the 2 of Samantha Brown travelling luggage. When I ordered this item it was available. This is very discouraging to customers. They order it for a reason and expect delivery as stated as on the order.

I’m sorry for the delay, @aracelie! The Samantha brown bags were on Extended Delivery when the order was placed. This just means it’ll take a little longer to arrive. Rest assured, you should have them on or before 10/24.

This really is ridiculous. I ordered a garden item to plant vegetables and it’s been 3 weeks and still hasn’t shipped on July 6 and I’m expected to receive this by the 8th. My plants are already overgrown their containers. The woman in CS was very nice but could not give me any answers. I’m done with HSN. This is the 3rd time something has been very delayed in shipping.

I appear to have the same issue. I ordered an item just a few minutes after the first airing only to receive notice it is on extended delivery.
This is the second time in the past few months that an item is being shipped at a later date. I cancelled the order and will most likely cancel HSN.
Profit before people is not acceptable.
