Disappointed in you HSN
I just tried to order a Colleen Lopez faux leather trench using the coupon 183662 sent to me via email. Everything looked fine right up until I pressed the order button then the price went back to the original price without the coupon. I spent many years teaching marketing and advertising so I know it is not good for to mislead customers. I’m very disappointed in you HSN!

Cancelled the order BTW. I don’t like false advertising.

I am very sorry for the experience you had with the coupon, @charliek and understand why you canceled your order. I’ll be sure to pass your feedback along regarding the coupon not working with the item you were ordering.

I’m disappointed for another reason. Where are the petite sizes in Kathy Ireland pants? Not buying anything from her line. Added to Anthony, and others on your channel.

The same thing happened to me. I called immediately and the person I spoke to said this is not uncommon and also happens to her! She could not explain why it happens to some people, calling it a “glitch”. She advised me to either 1. Cancel the order and try again or 2. Call back in 24 hours and they will be able to apply the promo to my order. She told me that is what she does when it happens to her. Because of that and not wanting to risk it “glitching” again, I opted to call back. When I did, the customer service person told me she could not apply the promo, saying it would need to be applied the day off the order placement! I asked her to cancel the order so I may have her manually place another order with the code and she told me it was too late since the order was in packaging! I asked her to transfer me to a supervisor. The supervisor told me the same thing and offered a $15 credit to my account for future purchases. I rejected the offer because I don’t regularly shop HSN but chose to purchase what I did due to the promo. I could have easily picked the same item up at my local Nordstrom Rack. The principal, though, is that I agreed to the purchase price that showed on the review order page when I hit “submit order” and then it switched to the regular price and charged me. That is stealing! I did not agree to that amount. That is just unacceptable and, frankly, is a scam!! The supervisor eventually said he would remove my last flex payment to compensate for the mishap, which I appreciate but how many people are victim to this?
