Denied Flexpay But Charged Anyway?
I decided to try HSN after being encouraged to do so from many friends who have used HSN. I tried to place an order for a camera but was denied Flexpay and charged the $300 anyways. So now I’m in a place where I can’t purchase the camera before I depart for my trip (as HSN has taken my money) and I apparently won’t have a camera arriving with the two day shipping I paid for. Of course this means me and my friends will no longer be using HSN, which is ridiculous for a company to do this, but I figured I’d post and ask what to do about getting my money back since now I’m out of being able to purchase a camera because of this company.

Did the funds get released? just curious in the same boat

Hi @pt20665, i took a look at your order and am sorry that it was canceled. I’ve sent an electronic request to have the authorization on your account released. The time frame as to when the funds will become available is dependent upon your financial institutions release of funds policy.

I really am sorry to hear that your funds haven’t been released @sahardman. I’ve sent an electronic request to your financial institution to have the funds released. The time frame as to when the funds will become available is dependent upon your financial institutions release of funds policy.

It’s been four minutes since then and the funds were released by my bank and given back. So all of that could have been avoided if this were done sooner. A negative review and BBB complaint could have been avoided it I were treated with decency and honesty up front.

@sahardman I’m sorry to see that we weren’t able to process your order on Flex Pay. Please know this doesn’t mean you won’t be able to order on Flex Pay in the future.
The hold should fall if within 3-5 business days depending on your banks policy. I may be able to speed this process up and have them released by tomorrow.
We are so sorry for the inconvenience.

Another day and still no money back after continued promises to release it “sooner.”

Well it’s been almost 3 days and still nothing so I’m assuming that was another HSN promise made from nothing. Once again I still dont have funds to purchase another camera. This is ridiculous.
