Block on my account due to previous tenants collections
My account has been blocked when I tried to order an item last night it gave an error due to a problem with account. I contacted customer service and was told there was a person that has collections on their account with my address. I told them we just moved here on September 13th and that I have ordered one item just 3 weeks ago and was not blocked from ordering. He said it should have blocked me and that it will take 7 to 10 business days for their collections team to look into this. Has this been resolved for anyone else. Totally unfair as I’ve been a HSN customer for years and always paid for my items and kept my account in good standing!!!

I have the same issue. I have always paid on time. I have been using my neighbors house to receive my packages from HSN. She has sold her house . Now I am unable to receive anything from HSN because my address is blocked. How can I get it inblocked?

I am really sorry for this extremely delayed response, @msbbrown. I’m sorry to hear that you’re unable to have any orders shipped to your address. I can have this looked into for you. Please give me a few days to receive a response.

I really am sorry @ryjar80 for the delayed response and inconvenience this is causing. I certainly want you to be able to order with us. I’ll take a look and see what I can do to help with getting this corrected.

I would think if someone could fax them some mail addressed with name and address of new tenet that could clear it up….Something like a electric bill or another bill…..My guess is some have claimed they just moved in but maybe really didnt and they are the same person?

I was told that they have back channels that look into these issues and that there is nothing else I can do in the next 7 to 10 business days. This is so ridiculous they need to start linking social security numbers to accounts and not addresses.

The exact thing happened to me I posted yesterday. I was told as long as I lived at my address, it would never be resolved until the customer with the debt pays.

Hi @marinamermaid, I’d be more than happy to take a look at your concern. Please send me an email with the phone number associated with your account to HSNSocialCare@hsn.com.
