Autoship order price increase

Curtis Stone 12-count 4 oz. Filet Mignon Tips Auto-Ship® Item 883-003
The first autoship on 07/21/2024 was $89.95. The next shipment is now $119.95, i.e. more than the initial autoship order price.
$119.95 is the list price for this item now, however it was not the price that the item was first purchased for.
The price that the item was initially purchased for is not being honored as the autoship price. Doesn’t this negate the premise of the autoship feature?
