Arcade & Re-Signing In
Please! Why do I have to keep signing in when playing games in the Arcade?
I am required to do this about every 15 or 20 minutes, at least!
Isn’t it enough that I have to keep seeing all of the unwanted ads?!
Please, PLEASE fix this annoyance!

Clearing cache doesn’t help. I have all of the correct up-to-date computer info. I have done everything that the FAQs shows. But, still I continue to have to resign in frequently. What else am I supposed to do? I do not have this problem with other websites.

Hi – I do not work for HSN nor do I work for an IT company. I was having a similar problem. Unfortunately for me, I had been getting pop up that said “This site says etc. The pop up would include things like Windows Firewall has detected etc. and want me to click OK. Another message would be Windows Security has detected etc. Der Spectrum user your Flash Player could be out of date. They even had one from Norton saying my subscription has expired today etc and click Ok. I do not have Norton so I know that one was a scam. This went on for about a month so I downloaded. I figured it must be Windows or Microsoft as it never said what company was sending them.. When I saw the name of the company after the download – Reimage Repair – I deleted it. A pop up aske d me why I was deleting it and I explained I thought it was from Windows or Microsoft and that the 10 to 20 minute pop ups were annoying. I paid for that remark. They sent 10 in a row. I was unable to do anything on HSN because the pop ups once I x’ed out I had to sign in again and again because the pop ups would not stop. I had their email address because of the download and sent an email every time a pop up appeared. Finally had enough and looked up cyber crimes and reported them to everyone that was on their site. Sometimes the pop ups were 3 at a time X out of the first one and behind it was another and X’ed out of that one and then the third one etc. I finally searched on the internet as to why I was getting pop ups even though I had pop ups blocked. I followed the instructions and they have stopped. I have no idea what pop ups you are getting. Sounded similar with the having to re-sign in every 10 to 20 minutes. Hope this helps.

Thank you pammy01. I haven’t had any of the pop-ups or problems you describe. But I do appreciate your info. It’s nice to have a fellow arcadian respond, especially when HSN’s own arcade techs don’t seem to care.

What internet engine are you using. I had problems using Apple Safari. I now use Chrome and don’t have your problems.
