What about more plates??

I went to buy the Empress Mini along with three sets of additional plates but got a message that they were sold out. I verified this with a phone rep. If the Mini is only available through HSN, I did not place my Mini order as I do not know where I would get additional plates. I see this as a real problem not experienced with the CC’s unit. Although I would much rather have the Anna Griffin Mini. Why would Anna and HSN offer something for which necessary accessories are not available???

I wouldn’t fret about the plates. I got the Empress last year. I use it a lot and am still using my original set of plates. My magnetic mat has finally bit the dust, so I ordered another one from HSN during the Craft Event so as to take advantage of the shipping. Anna will bring in more. And she makes them available on her own website.
