Oh – – I can't wait to read the comments on this one!!
We were wrong about all the items coming in one box. Mine were all individual boxes. I ordered some transfer tape – quantity is two, they shipped separately – 1 label tape, one vinyl tape and the card bundle and adhesive paper bundle. I got 5 small individual boxes. One of the vinyls and the Joy machine are not here yet. No return shipping labels. The UPS man said: Wait till you see what you got! That’s all I ordered and I did not find out about the shipping until it was too late to cancel. Wow – – what is going to happen to the people that ordered many more items than that?! They are going to be opening up packages until next Christmas! I ordered mine on Sunday that is why I just got it. This is NUTS! Who’s idea was this anyway?!

That’s a first. My orders have always all come together in one box, unless there were too many to fit into one box, or if they were coming from different warehouses. Probab!y the same (s) who decided not to have the $5 shipping decided to send the separate boxes.

I see they censored my post, and it was just a normal word, not a swear word or a rude word.

The box thing is a function of the place where the order is fulfilled. The Cricut Joy products maybe related to Cricut fulfillment as HSN has centers all over the USA. For example, Fontana using UPS is my main fulfillment center. Older merch usually comes out of Virginia, which is bad for me because it then must go thru UPS Vernon, CA where it usually is pilfered as it was on a Iman item last week. So I pay close attention to routes. Cricut fulfills a lot of its merch themselves. I’ve asked for USPS on everything, to avoid UPS Vernon CA, but HSN does not honor that very often.

A lot of the stuff I’ve bought passes through ups vernon and has never been pilfered, but I only buy craft items for card making, but probably won’t from hsn any more after last week’s fiasco. I don’t like ups at all, though, for a number of reasons.

You’re lucky not to be on the “hit list” at UPS Vernon for HSN shipments. I have had thefts of everything from invoices, items opened and returned to shipping boxes, labels for shipping removed and applied to new non-HSN boxes after items stolen, plastic shipping mailers opened using perforations and resealed using return tape, tears in plastic mailers, and the biggie—breaking the corner seams on the shipping box and removing the invoices. If there is something on the invoice the thief wants, then the box get fully opened and has at it. Last fall, I had six items stolen of thirteen. The thief likes small size items that can be hidden on the person. The thief has all my identity and account info and tracks my shipments using UPS technology.
HSN has been incredible in supporting me and covering the losses. I am trying to only order brand new merchandise as the Fontana Fulfillment ships new items from Craft Days. I never have a problem with those shipments because they do not go thru Vernon, and arrive in perfect condition. Most of my other HSN that goes thru Vernon is clothes/shoes and the thief must not be my size. The package will be torn open a little like last week, a hole torn out of the mailer about 2 x 2 inches in size, a little peep hole. That happened last week. There is a rotten apple in Vernon.

Wow. That’s terrible. I think the thief must not be interested in anything I buy. I don’t buy clothing or jewellery or anything particularly expensive, and I only watch hsn on craft days and only buy the new stuff. Not any more, though, after that last craft day. A lot of it comes from Fontana, some of it sometimes comes from Piney Flats. I follow tracking for everything I buy from everyone, and the tracking virtually always has Vernon as the depot just before the most local UPS where the final delivery comes from, but my stuff has never been tampered with, thankfully. I hope they catch that thief. Nobody should have to worry about whether they will receive their purchases or what condition they’ll be in.

I ordered two things on Craft Day and they came in the same box.

Felling the Amazon by using excess packaging is hardly reassuring. They shipped together before, as recently as the craft day before this past one. They can do it again. I’ll only shop on the 31st if they bring back $5 shipping.

I usually only buy vitamins from HSN and have had multiples sent in one box. It’s good to know HSN will replace items that are stolen in transit. QVC is good about that too, last year I had 2 fairly expensive jewelry items stolen at the local post office. Who delivers empty bubble envelopes with no notation. The post office clerk said the theft was not on their end (we have a rural route box), yet about 6months later 2 clerks were fired for theft.
