No $5 Shipping is saving me money!
Without the usual $5 shipping special, I have reduced my craft spending on HSN. Thank you for forcing me to curb my normal craft spending. I feel sorry for Sara Davis for visiting from the United Kingdom and will probably not experience her usual sellouts on her fabulous products. I am sure Anna Griffin, Cricut, Diamond Press, and the rest of the Vendor will feel the difference in the loss of sales during March 2020 Craft Month. Now shopping on Amazon, Ebay or crafterscompanion.com will be more attractive than HSN.

Same here! Ended up just buying one additional item in addition to the TS bundle. I can deal with $10 shipping for those two but spending $5 to ship something that costs $6-$8, like the materials, is not going to happen!

I had over $600 in purchases in my cart. Then I realized there was no $5 shipping. My husband will be so happy that I didn’t spend his money on craft items this month! I refuse to pay such ridiculous amounts for shipping when I know it doesn’t cost HSN that amount to ship all my purchases in one box. You lost my business!

I just got up at 4:30 AM to anxiously start watching Craft Day or to watch the overnight shows I recorded. I was shocked to learn that there was no $5 shipping. I immediately deleted my order and turned off my TV. This is the first Craft Day I have ever missed. I think since HSN and QVC merged both companies have gone down hill.

I already have enough stuff to practically open a craft shop as it is, and hsn is saving me money too because I’m not buying anything today and have turned off the channel.. I probably would have spent at least $500 or $600, and it feels so good to feel free of spending anything today. Thanks, hsn. If this continues I won’t ever even be watching a craft day again.

I cannot find the change from the $5 shipping/24 hr event to “regular” shipping charges on the internet. I feel very disappointed that this change was not publicized for customers to plan accordingly. I have found that reasonable business practices can be told in an up front manner so this “hidden change” and subsequent charge seems even more injurious. I do a LOT of shopping online and am alarmed at the shipping charges relative to other vendors. So far I have spent $1200 and about $200 is shipping. This is an estimate. I have never seen shipping charges like this apart from large heavy furniture. It seems as though the shipping change could be done according to your charge or other more flexible ways. For instance, I see “spend $75 and shipping is free”…the dollar amount determined by the business. Or shipping charges up to $100 are…..between $100-$300 are……etc. This practice reminds me of credit card charges that can be obscure and devious. Going forward I will make an effort to purchase items elsewhere.

I had almost 400.00 in my cart at 12:15 am I had watched Sara and Craig live live anticipated buying her products, watched all the Anna’s previews and made my list and had Diamond Press along with Totally Tiffany to purchase along with Cricut Joy. Throughout the day I would of spent $1000.00 yes, I too saved! HSN isn’t getting my monthly spending.

Same here … hopefully Sara will sell on her own website.
My relationship with HSN is very likely over.
I was at $450 when it dawned on me they were indeed going to charge me over $50 to ship.
The weight of that package would be lucky if it pushed 8 lbs. They were instead charging me for the weight of GOLD BARS.

I canceled two items and bought the exact same items at Joanne’s for $3 less! I’m keeping the Cricut Joy because it is on flexpays, but I think my HSN craft days are over!
-
I agree. We should boycott. If we did, the company’s would notice there items were not being purchased and I’m sure HSN would then take notice.

I’m with you completely! I cleared my cart of everything (over $200) and buying nothing. Not interested watching any further today.

I turned off the channel. First time in 22 years!

Same here. Not buying anything. I would have easily found 3-5 things to buy, if the shipping was $5.00. Now, I’m able to resist and buy nothing. Slimy move HSN. Even your Hosts were left in the dark. Sweet Shannon, on the face book live with Sara, in the afternoon yesterday, still believed there would be $5.00 shipping. So did Sara! So you told no one, upfront, apparently. Hope you suffer the consequences of your decision.

Last night (or early this morning) I dumped a $450 order.
I wrote SARA too. I am sorry they have sold her out . Hopefully she will take her product and sell it off her own site. She ships FREE to the USA for orders over $70 I believe.Time to sever my relationship with HSN … looks like.
