Everything goes back!
OK, they really tested my patience this time. I ordered the Cricut Joy and 6 items to go with it on craft day. Got 7 packages and 7 different shipping costs just like everyone else. I got thru that OK but now I ordered two blades so I would have them. Same blade – quantity of two. It came back with two shipping costs again! They are the same blade and would easily fit into a small padded envelope together. I will not buy into this system. HSN apologized again and said it’s all up to Cricut. They determine how they are going to do the shipping and they also elected NOT to let us use the easy return label. We have to pay for it ourselves. Maybe they think they won’t get so many returns. The nice customer service gal said HSN is very aware of this problem since they have gotten so many complaints and ARE working on it. But in the mean time until and if they get something done all my items are going back and in the same 12″ x 12″ box. It all fit!

I call hog wash. If they were telling you that shipping things separately, and charging for each item shipped was on Cricut. Simply not true. Do they think we are that naive? No vendor tells HSN what to charge for shipping, or not to pack and ship things together.
On a related thought. It’s now March 24th, and I don’t feel like we got any love from HSN for craft month at all. Hardly anything on sale, high shipping prices, no specials throughout the month, and well, the disaster that was Craft day, with the shipping was the first slap in the face. Guess it proved the rest of the month would have no deals, specials, or anything worth tuning in for.
I’ll record the 4 hours, of crafting on March 31st, if they still do that. I have no faith there will be anything even resembling a deal.

Good for you! Bottom line HSN has the power to do whatever it wants with these vendors. They negotiate and contract in advance what items and quantities they want from these vendors.
Personally I’m also fed up with Cricut…They are just in the business of making & selling you these electronic die cutting machines. I just bought an Explore Air 2 that does the same stuff this Joy does. And if others own their Maker….which is suppose to be the “Mercedes Benz” of all their machines..,why would you buy this Tonya Toy? And then have to be sucked into buying items that will only work with it? It’s a scam. Unless you are living in a tiny space or maybe for Rving…is this thing necessary? Just my thoughts. And people are free to spend their money as they see fit, but seems like a big waste to me.
I’m not going to be paying any shipping costs to HSN over the $5 total anymore. I have plenty of products in my craft room now I’ve ordered over the years and still haven’t used. Now that I am shut in, I reviewed my inventory and am making a point of starting to use product on hand.
We are going into a recession unfortunately….craft purchases are not a necessity in times like this. So increased shipping costs will not get any of my business. When I do make purchasesvit will be with those vendors who offer free shipping.

I agree completely. I have a lot of stuff I’ve never used. I don’t really need any more. I need to use what I’ve already got. Their excessive shipping costs have put me right off of ever buying from them again. I didn’t buy a thing on the last craft day due to no $5 shipping. That, and getting new things a bit earlier than elsewhere, were the only positives about buying them from hsn, and I can wait and get better prices elsewhere. I don’t even feeling !ike watching their craft days any more.

Exactly!! Start where we are. Use what we have. Do what we can! And good luck to us all!

Same thing happened to me, ordered two Lemon Way shirts, different color. Separate shipping charges, call to find out why I have to pay separate shipping for two shirts that would come in the same package, they told me its because its different color and it would come from different places, I cancelled the order that”s so ridiculous.
