Cricut Joy
I just heard about the Cricut Joy, which is a mini (4.5 cutting width) Cricut. I wonder if this will be the TSV for March 3rd. I’m hoping it will at least be featured that day. I’m curious to see what it can do. You apparently can cut without a mat if using Cricut Smart Vinyl, up to 20 ft long. I’m also hoping to see the new wider Diamond Press on this craft day. Looking forward to some new exciting craft items this time, quite frankly, I’ve found the last few craft days to be a bit boring. Happy Crafting everyone!

This is Going to Be Awesome! I will be able to take this to work and Make a Custom Project and/or Gift for fellow employees on my Lunch Hour. Set it – Proof it – Cut it – Apply it. Cricut, You Are Awesome. THANKS HNS – LOVE THE BUNDLE IDEA -Ron Krueger -Signs of Awesome

If you search for Cricut here on HSN they show that the Cricut Joy will be available as an exclusive bundle on March 1st. I have a Maker and had the Explore prior to that. I live in a small one bedroom apartment with not much room for crafting. MY maker is on my desk but since I have so little room I often have stuff piled in front of and on top of it. Then I have to clear everything off when I want to craft and sometimes I don’t feel like doing that. I do a lot of small vinyl/HTV projects and I’m thinking I may get the Joy. I can stick it in a drawer when I’m not using it. The smaller mat will be easier to work with on my desk. I think I’ll end up crafting more, and I’ll use the Maker for larger projects and projects that use the special tools and thicker materials.

I also just seen the advertisement for the new Cricut Joy. I absolutely love my Cricut machine and tell everyone I can about it . I just can’t see spending that about of money ($179.00) on another cutting machine that (as advertised) is easier to move from room to room and doesn’t take as many steps to get up and running. I personally can’t justify the expense.
I wonder what price tag HSN will have on it and what extras will be included.
Even with a ‘bundle’ deal it would be crazy to spend upwards of $150 to $200 for a mini cricut machine when the majority of us crafters already have a cutting machine.-
I was hoping they would release prior to March 1. You can’t preorder at Provo Craft. I will buy this so I can use for vinyl. It has2 different mats but the “special” vinyl, labels, are for smaller area. I still want it. I am hoping HSN will have a package deal. I have only bought my Imagine with printer ink from HSN. There is a carrying case, too. I haven’t bought a machine since the Imagine is a no go basically. I bought my machine in 2008. I was using fabric then. I would like a deal for the machine, 2 mats, carrying tote, vinyl, & maybe instructions to use cartridges you own.
I guess we won’t get to order next week. I won’t purchase if the deal isn’t good. We know retail is $179 so I will be checking all the retail stores for pre order. I seriously doubt you will be able to get the first month or two anywhere. Unless on the secondary market for way too much money.
My other issue is Provo Craft claims there are no rules for NOT being allowed to use coupons. The retailers say it is Provo’s rule. So there is a lie in there.
