I just tried placing a craft order and my zero balance HSN card was rejected
Rep said they started having issues after midnight. I had to use a credit card to place my order. What a mess!!!!

Same here. I saw someone post about this very problem two days ago, and I had the same issue tonight.

To top it off you cannot use today’s 20$ coupon unless you use your Hsn card

I’ve pretty much given up on the HSN card. For the past several months every time HSN has offered an additional Flex Pay when using the HSN card it hasn’t worked for me. I’ll choose the extra flex option, it will display that it has been applied in my cart throughout the ordering process—until I hit the submit order button. It then takes away the extra flex & recalculates my monthly payment based on the normal flex pay for using any regular credit card—not the extra flex promised for using the HSN card.
