Charging Shipping fee per item ordered in the same company is not right!

I am furious about the new shipping charge policy. When shopping for clothes it is necessary at times to order both petite and regular not knowing which fit will be best. And this ridiculous promotion of free exchanges is absurd when things sell out. I just ordered G by Giuliana plaid TSV coats in two colors in petite and regular XS. So for 4 lightweight coats and her leather skirt and 2 tops and obi belt I was charged $28 in shipping which is non refundable!! and to add insult to injury the few items were packed in an enormous box 30×18 box – so to return the items I’ll have to get a normal box to ship back in. Another charge!! I am a long long time customer of HSN. I will not be buying the way I used to anymore!!! This is insulting to those of us who have been loyal all these years. Adding these absurd non refundable individual shipping charges to the price of buying clothes on HSN has now made it questionable.

Like many of you, I favorite items I would like to purchase and if a free ship day comes along, I put them in my cart and buy them. If not, I don’t except for rare exceptions! Very inexpensive clearance items, especially, make no sense when the shipping price negates the great buy. Hope HSN considers bringing back half price shipping on similar items. and a few more free ship days.

Most sites offer a flat fee per order or free shipping so I was appalled when I saw they charge shipping for each item and then ship them in the same box.

It really pays to check for free shipping on all items. I recently purchased shoes that had free shipping, but not all the shoes, boots, etc. offered the same deal. We just need to watch for those deals when they’re available.

I only buy scrapbooking items of Anna Griffin products in HSN and nothing else. It mostly when Anna launches new products exclusive in HSN and they usually offer free shipping with it. There’s few times that I bought her products without an event and it was shipped for free because they used to have this offer where you can get free shipping for a total of 75 bucks and above. It’s only a couple weeks ago that I ordered Anna Griffin products again and did not even bother to review my order and just checkout and paid but I was aware that it will not be ship for free because it’s just a couple items that’s on sale and did not even cost 50 bucks. Then yesterday I added 5 items of Anna Griffin products again and was about to checkout when I saw that the shipping fee cost a lot more than I’m willing to pay for. That’s when I found out that they’re charging a shipping fee in each item in my cart. I was expecting a flat rate shipping fee because those items are in the same category and just came from the same company which is Anna Griffin and they always deliver it in one box not separately. Too bad I cannot order those items at Anna Griffin store cause those are not available in her store anymore 😒 .

I buy mostly Beauty items and so all my items ship for free, not paid HSN shipping in years. Or
I wait for a free shipping day. most sites dont offer combined shipping anymore.

I might just buy from them again once they stop overcharging their customers with their ridiculous shipping fees. I was okay without free shipping but at least not make us customers pay for a shipping fee in every single items we purchase specially if the products we order are in the same company which can be combine in the same box and can be ship at the same time.

wait for a free shipping day, keep the items in your cart for now.

I would agree. I have 8 items in my cart right now and hesitated (they are STILL in my cart) when I saw the shipping fee on each item. A little while ago they had $5.50 on all orders shipped. I bet if they did a little bit of market research HSN would find that their sales went up at that time. Not sure I am going to purchase those items in my cart. I am a long time HSN customer 28 years — now looking elsewhere for the same items. with lower shipping costs –they are out there.
