New Coupon pretty confusing

“Coupon xxxx83 can be used on more than one item and can only be used once by its recipient and is valid for selected customers only.”
I received this offer in the Kash/Coupon notification area. So… can someone explain this usage to me?

Can only be used once by its recipient
Does that make any sense at all?

You can only use the coupon one time but your one order can include multiple items – you do need to order them at the same time.

Just be sure not to try it on excluded items such as anything on clearance.
