Free Shipping???

Hello HSN, I think we’re a little overdue for a free shipping promo. On top of that, the shipping times have been super-slooooow While I’m sure it’s due to this “shut-down”, it’s slow nonetheless. At least all the other companies I shop with (who’ve been a bit slow in their shipping times too) do not charge $3.50 – $7.50+ per item to ship, on the contrary, all my shipping fees from EVERY company I shop with EXCEPT HSN is always FREE.

I know shipping is expensive for companies but I think most of us would buy more if HSN returned to its old policy of half price shipping for second or multiple items of fashion and beauty and crafts. Paying full shipping for each item when multiples will be bundled and shipped together is not necessary and deters sales. Other companies I order from all have flat rate shipping charges.

The shipping costs seem much higher! I’m buying cardstock and dies and the shipping cost is over $30!

I get free shipping too, as I have many of my crafts sent over from England and don’t have to pay VAT or sales tax or shipping, and the item prices are almost always lower than hsn’s, plus I can pick and choose what I want. I get free shipping on what I buy from the US as well. I might have to wait for awhile, but that’s okay. Hsn’s decision in March to discontinue $5 craft day shipping was a big mistake. I used to spend many hundreds each time, but that day ended that. I didn’t buy anything, and I didn’t even watch it once I saw that there wasn’t the $5 shipping. Even if they started having free shipping, I don’t think anything would get me back as a customer. Their hypocrisy in doing the exact opposite of what they claim – how much they care about their customers, etc. put paid that.
