DON'T FORGET TO CHECK FOR PRICE ADJUSTMENTS!
Good Morning, Everybody! Please remember that you have 30 days for price adjustments. If you purchase something and find that the price has been lowered within the 30-day period, you can call 1-800-933-2887. Have the item number ready. (I always figure the difference plus the tax on the difference before calling).
I just purchased two Diane Gilman (DG2) blue jean embroidered jackets four days ago and found that they were marked down this morning. I had them both on flex pay, so before calling for refund, I went to the Flex Pay Page and went ahead and paid ALL the payments (had HSN put payments on my credit card for the next pay period). I did not waste time calling (as sometimes HSN will mark the merchandise back up) and received almost $50.00 in refunds (merchandise price difference plus any tax paid on amount refunded). I am ecstatic because anything saved is a good thing! Thank you, HSN Representative, Caroline. You were so nice, very efficient, and I appreciate your expertise. 🙂

Reminder … I’m watching prices bounce around between Holiday and Black Friday and Cyber … it’s like a ping pong ball.

I use Mr Rebates, Extrabux, Rakuten, Be Frugal, RetailMeNot and Top Cashback, whoever is offering the most at time of my purchase. Basically they all work in the same way.

Thanks goes out to all of you who posted here. The answers (and the question) are very good. I did not even think about the Rebate sites. Thank you, Martinc, Ennui, and RBLOVED …. you guys are very knowledgeable in regard to the Rebate sites. And Jazzy333, you asked a very valid question. So, if you are getting rebates from a rebate site, maybe asking for Spendable Kash is a good way to go (Martinc’s good advice). I mean that would be great if that works. Then you can make the very best of your purchase(s)!!!! That’s a Big Win! 🙂

which rebate site is the best in ur opinion? I really should be using them .I spend so much online and HSN in particuliar .Maybe it should be my New Years resolution! I just can’t motivate myself to do it.

I am registered with two- MrRebates and Rakuten. They both offer different promotions at different times, so I always check to see which one has the best rebate. The standard HSN rebate on MrRebates is 3%. The standard HSN rebate on Rakuten is 2%. But sometimes they offer 10-12% rebates. I like the fact that Rakuten will send you an email to notify you when they are having a special promotion. With MrRebates, you have to go to the site to see if they are offering a special promotion.

Just remember that if you purchased online and used one of the rebate sites, then a price adjustment will void your rebate. You can try asking for the adjustment be put in your Spendable Kash and then rebate should not be voided.

And remember that Spendable Kash will expire, so don’t forget it’s there.
