Clearance?
Remember when clearance really meant clearance? No discount for multiple items shipped nor multiple flex pays. Why is that?

I’ve stopped buying from this company when I dealt with that. No real deals ever! Then I tried to buy a pair of Easy Spirit tennis shoes, size 8 twice, and still got a size 5 inside the box, twice, within a 2 week period!
Yes, they fixed it, I returned it, but there’s no quality control, no decency in dealing with products that are overpriced when presented to the public. How I know? I also bought a Hamilton Beach Flex coffee pot for over 100.00, it broke in 3 mo ths and not allowed to return, called HB only to find out it was a discontinued product that was taken off shelves by HB corporate! HSN was still selling it for 30.00 more than it was originally priced! Talk about getti g burned thrice!!
No. More.

Speaking of shoes. I found a pair I really liked, but at $80 and with the shipping and tax added I had to say bye bye. Later, while still wishing for that pair, decided to shop elsewhere where the shoes were $40 with free shipping. Also, if for some reason you need to return the shoe, no questions asked and it is free shipping back So, please, everyone, do your homework and look around before making a purchase. To think that QVC bought HSN in order to lower prices and compete against Amazon and Walmart.

I found a few cute items on clearance last night, put them in my wish list and decided to wait until morning to look them over. Some had bad ratings, s/h was regular and none of them had no more than two flex pays. If I bought five items, I would be charged $3.50 – $5.50 per item? No thanks. Yes, you really have to do your homework on popular items because even with the clearance price, they may be cheaper elsewhere. I no longer buy shoes at HSN because they charge s/h . I can buy the same shoe on other on line sites for free s/h and free s/h if I need to return them.

Yes, I remember when clearance meant clearance. I used to buy a LOT. And yes, the buy more and save on shipping was an incentive, to well, BUY MORE THAN ONE THING. HSN is cutting off it’s nose to spite it’s face. Now, the clearance prices are more like a sale price, and I’ve noticed, they never go down from there. Used to be several rounds of price reductions, on items on clearance because well, Duh,,,,, they wanted to move the inventory. Now I see items on there six or eight months sometimes longer, at the same original “clearance” price it started at.
Certainly saving me money, because there’s nothing about their clearance prices that tempt me.

HSN and QVC, any products sold on “Clearance” with multiple negative ratings for poor materials, shoddy workmanship, overall poor quality should be sold “AS IS” so people don’t buy junk. There are two planters for sale with solar lights and there are 29 negative reviews which are credible. Why are you presenting them on air as if they’re good products? MAKE SURE YOU READ REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING

I remember when I would buy shoes from HSN at the end of a season for 20.00 with free shipping and no tax. I did this right up till the Q came in the pic.
I also cannot get a clear and satisfactory explanation on taxes from HSN. Their cousin Zuliliy doesn’t charge me taxes. Amazon and Evine don’t charge me taxes.

In agreement with you on As Is.
If I want used products, I can find my way to Goodwill, the Salvation Army, or garage sales.

My last purchases were made this last week with Iman clearances. Now there is nothing that appeals to me. The good old days with HSN are long gone and it is time to move on. Rather sad in a way but I figure my closet is full of some very beautiful things and I don’t need anything else. So long everyone, it was fun while it lasted.
