I think that it’s a bunch of , that I can’t sign up for this discount! I work in a nursing home as an Activities Director…it might not be considered medical, but let me tell you, especially this past year with Covid….It has been a chore trying to make sure that our residents social well being has been taken care of! We have been helping them fight off depression, from not being able to see their families (Except through a closed window or a video chat), watching their friends in the facility die from Covid, having their families die and not being able to go to the funeral because of Covid…feelings of social isolation, having to stay in their rooms looking at the same 4 walls, because they are not allowed out of their rooms, not being able to go to church, not being able to do group activities. Social workers are listed…..shame on you HSN for not having Activity Staff in nursing homes as allowed Healthcare workers!
