Why i change the Chanel
I am not watching QVC as much because, when some of the male host. Sells make up or face products for women and they said “ oh I love this lipgloss or moisturizer I use it daily . When clearly they are selling these products to women. I will miss Mary Beth , I enjoy watching Leah Williams. I can’t hardly watch Amy and Shawn . The show is all about them .

Back to the original post, a lot of young men wear makeup these days. And pearls. I guess there’s a market.
I agree that Mary Beth’s retirement celebration is completely overdone. However, there will be someone in the future who posts “whatever happened to MBR? I haven’t seen her in a while.” -
I totally agree with the above posts. I enjoyed Marybeth and will miss her presentations. I have to say this, though, and I am not being petty. A lot of people retire every day of the week. Some people doing more in life that just sell products to vulnerable people who are lonely. She did what she was paid to do and probably paid very well off the customers she served. I wish her well, but enough of the retirement parties, etc. Let’s be honest. She did not find a cure for cancer. She sold products. The world will continue to turn. As I said, I am not jealous of her or anything life that. I am just tired of it.

I agree; I used to look forward to Beauty Report, years ago, but stopped watching because of Amy Morrison. I can’t abide her, and I don’t watch Shawn either, unless it’s something I really want to see. Mary Beth was always a favorite of mine, so genuine and without any of the phoniness and nonstop blabbing. The only Beauty Report shows I actually enjoyed, years back, were when someone else subbed for Amy—Shannon Smith once, Tina Jennings (is she still around?), and I think Sara Anderson (another favorite of mine). Seeing these women on Beauty Report made me appreciate their low-key presentations. And since I’ve stopped watching Beauty Report, I don’t make any more regrettable impulse buys of beauty items—thanks, Amy!
