Today's TSV: 2oz body creams
I just read the ingredients and saw that they all contain dimethicone, which I believe is a lab made silicone. Disappointing. I thought your products were all natural. Hmmm- don’t think I’ll purchase now.

I know….isn’t it sad? It is hard to get away from dimethicone…it’s in everything–even shampoo. I’ve started a search for face cream without it–I found one from “Fat and the Moon” called ‘all cream’…here are the ingredients:
– sunflower oil*
– aloe vera*
– shea butter*
– rosewater*
– beeswax
– elderberry extract*Organic
2 fl oz
They have tons of products with hardly any ingredients. the ‘all cream’ is very nice. I think it was $16 for 2 ounces. It does not come in fancy packaging, but it is very creamy and concentrated–a little goes a long way.

If you have super dry skin, I wouldn’t be so quick to discount dimethicone (an emollient). I have Xerosis (super dry and cracked feet) and MUST have something with dimethicone to hold onto as much moisture as possible. It’s also excellent at preventing diaper rash and helps with certain types of skin burns. Overall it’s very safe with side effects considered “rare.” Also, it *IS* FDA approved and is used in certain cases of chronic dermatitis (my Podiatrist discussed it with me many years ago and I chose to find more pleasing alternatives to the prescription he wanted to give me).
