To much info
The other day when Debbie D and Suzanne were selling Nakery refresh, I think it got a little gross. I dont need to hear about Debbies cookies needed refreshed before she gets busy. Too much info. Suzanne kept talking about refreshing her down there over and over again.

They don’t call it Nakery for nothing! 🙈

I saw a presentation of this product one time and found it to be ridiculous and in poor taste. Everything was “down there” over and over and over. This is one of the reasons Nakery has lost its luster for me. As far as Kathy goes, I can’t explain it, but I find her presentations quite boring, so I don’t shop when she is on. Nothing personal to Kathy of course, but the items she sells don’t interest me either. Lately I’ve been watching QVC more than HSN. They have more free shipping days, more discounts and coupons, and many more sale/clearance items. HSN is getting so ho hum these days. I wonder when they will merge into one network.

Being older has nothing to do with it. It is gross and juvenile to talk in that manner. Uncouth. And as far as being older, that in itself is insulting. I don’t define myself in anyway by my age., and I certainly don’t want a Host,at a business I give my money to, to do so either!

I’m hoping someday the hosts can leave these euphemisms behind and simply sell products for the area. Kids in middle school are taught the proper names for body parts and yet few people seem comfortable using them. Nakery seems to have hit on a useful product but it’s not an easy sell for the hosts.

I too feel sometimes the descriptions get a little too… personal.
After watching some of these presentations, it seems like hsn is trying hard to
be like the “50” and over ladies like QVC has gone deep into.As an older woman, I find the targeting of us older ladies offensive and wonder if all they see is a over 50 Po$$ibilitie$ ….
That said, I do appreciate on the HSN side the folks are trying to work hard to keep things going and I wish them much success.

I am not old but there are ways to tactfully and factually sell a feminine product -and its not cookies and getting busy..and neither Debbie nor Kathy need to share that much. we get it I personally think Debbie is over the top anyway and Kathy is like a different person.

there are particular public stages where this type of language should be spoken and this isn’t one of them.

I am older too and I feel we need to cut these ladies a little slack, this is not an easy product to sell on TV, just stop and think what you would say if you had to sell these kinds of products on air. Ever hear Shawn and Mally sell this kind of thing on the Q, yikes, no holes barred with them.
-
I know. I feel a little uncomfortable hearing those descriptions too. It’s probably because I am older and not use to that area being discussed.

I agree and Kathy Wolfe is on way too often and does the same thing .I don’t know what happened to her but she seems like she’s trying too hard these days to be something,. .not even sure what…but she’s very different as a vendor…its as if she’s trying to be sexy now -it’s not working….

I agree I don’t like Kathy at all she makes no sense when she speaks, she used to only cover for Nakery when Liz wasn’t on air. Now she is on all the time, and I don’t care for her at all.
When representing Nakery onetime she was talking about the Nakery Feminine wash, she just kept talking faster and faster repeating the same thing and not making any sense.
She also said you know how when you get older you smell bad down there: I nearly gasped at how ignorant she sounded that is so far from the truth but what an ignorant statement to make, it’s like she just spews out the first thing that comes to mind, she is useless.
