Signature Club A – it's OK to smile!

ladybug22 I decided to respond to your post as I am in same age group as Adrienne. I think, perhaps I can better explain my opinion via comparison of Adrienne and Marilyn Miglin, as I have followed both of themfor years. Remember this is just my old lady opinion. Marilyn’s first husband was murdered, she married again only to have him die thru surgery. Both have only one daughter. Marilyn, to me, a selfless woman, known for her charitable work, decided to pretty much retire and watched her grands so her daughter could work. Adrienne also lost her long married husband, however, she is a different personality. I think, more selfish. Actually that is a good trait which in my old age I am just learning, lol. Adrienne spent lots of time shopping for her antique jewelry, dunno if spending time with grands enthuses her, but I believe all she has is selling her “stuff” I see what you see in her face. However, I see it quite differently in my old age. I see it as a tremendously unhappy, sad woman. After the loss of her husband, her business is all she has. She is totally focused on & grasping at it as if it were a person, that my heart aches for her so much that I find it too sad to view her. I just go online & purchase her cleansers, the only product after trying many, that I still use. Young lady, I find it absolutely wonderful that you are so observant, and insightful, but hope that you can remember that things are not always as they appear. It took me many decades to finally realize that. My life would havve been different had I been able to open my mind at a younger age. God bless.
