No Skinn In November?

@lisa1028 …….No, I am not an employee of Skinn Cosmetics or HSN. Just a consumer. I have been shopping with HSN for 20+ years. I just don’t understand the personal attacks on the Vendors when one is speculating and doesn’t have the real facts or know the Vendor on a personal level. So much ugliness in the Forums now-a-days. I guess that’s the way of the world. So sad. I remember the Live Chat on the HSN App. So much fun posting and enjoying each other’s posts. Then it got ugly and they had to take it down. I see that happening in the future with the HSN Community too. “Merry Christmas to everyone”. 🎁🎄🥰

Hmmmm, I don’t know about that. Evine (ShopHQ) stock had fallen to pennies a share. Could be why Beekman’s, Vanessa Williams and Demetri left. Not sure, but I agree with @Wildieeta, sometimes we are not privy to the whole story. We have to know that there is a different mind set from an owner opposed to a consumer.

Have you given any thought that maybe, just maybe it wasn’t his choice to leave. Maybe it was ShopHQ choice. So much speculation………NOBODY knows! Until and even if Dimitri addresses this (which I doubt) nobody will know. I don’t understand all the negativity regarding Skinn Cosmetics. Actually it’s nice not seeing him presenting over and over! Because after awhile people would complain……..not that they don’t already! 😱

You are so right, Wilddietta. People complained when he was on Evine about the shipping charge. Now that he is on HSN, people complain about the prices and rip apart his physical appearance. It’s sad to read some of the nasty, mean-spirited comments on various threads. I am not surprised though. There are a lot of miserable people in the world and misery loves company. On any given day, visit the community and most threads are complaints or beauty queens critiquing a host or vendors appearance. I rarely visit the community anymore because the negativity is too strong. I buy my Skinn products from HSN or his website. I don’t have an issue with the pricing. I think he brings us quality products at a fair price.

if he wants the sales ….(and Christmas is usually when he goes full steam) he should have done so. I know what I paid…exactly what I paid. If he does not wish to have the Christmas specials that is his decision. No business keeps its customers if it closes the door so to speak during the month of November and December. Yes I know he comes back on the end of December but in the last week of December after Christmas.

I have found myself using less Skinn these days due to lack of bundle choices.
Have ventured to some K beauty from Beauty Report and Josie Maran’s products, both very effective. I am on the look out for Enro Aszlo’s products, know they have been around for a long time but hear good things about it. Eager to try pre-cleanser oil and soap/bar cleansers.
If you see Josie’s watercolor dual-ended lip stain and shine in berry bliss let me know.

I bid on the Powder and waiting to see if I win……….. which I think I will. No one else and it is ending very soon. So thanks. I noticed on ebay there are many many of Skinn products up for sale. Looks like many have cashed in on Dimitrii ending many of the products we all love.
There are many other places too online to buy his many many discontinued things. Like…if I am understanding right he has just dumped all his old formulas and started a completely new line for he has brought so many new in and no longer sells what I was getting. So thanks.. Nope I haven’t given up either…. 🙂

Yes I agree….. Dimitrii is not his former self we know and love. His personality has been toned way ….way down… I try to catch a show if he is selling something I want….. but don’t watch it all and every show like I used too… I have so very many of his products stocked up and give out many for Christmas presents of things I buy from his packaged items …. I do miss that.
