Londontown Question

I purchased a pretty collection of 4 Londontown nail polishes. Before ordering I read all the information and there was nothing mentioned about using with a base and top coat. When I opened the package today I was disappointed to read the directions that state to use this over a base coat then cover with a top coat.
Has anyone used this polish? Do you know if the base coat and top coat are required?

I bought the same set , was wondering if anyone wears the veils and concealer together

Londontown says to use base and top coat with their colors (lakurs). Their Nail Concealers and Nail Veils (kurs) can be used on bare nails.

You can always use a polish alone, but a base coat will protect your nails from staining, especially with dark colored polishes, and a top coat is supposed to help prevent chipping. The Concealers and Veils are light colors so staining isn’t an issue.

I bought a set too because I liked the colors and liked a polish I had tried. Included with the set was a Nail Concealer. I tried it and now use it most of the time. One coat on bare nails makes my nails look great. I don’t want to be without it.
