Just An Observation RE: Packaging
In the past two weeks I’ve ordered beauty items from QVC and HSN and they both arrived in UPS plain brown envelopes, packing slips taped outside and no logo on the package whatsoever. I let one package sit for more than a day because I thought it was an item for a family member. Have the Corporate Powers That Be decided their two networks will use an outside company’s packaging to save money?

I bought a eyeliner, lipliner and eyebrow pencil from QVC last week . Each of the items came in a plain brown envelope with the invoice taped to the outside. The boxes were a little crushed but the products were fine. Nothing about the packages said QVC with exception to the invoices taped outside.

I just received a Perlier beauty item and it came in the familiar HSN envelope well packaged. We pay a lot for shipping so hoping shortcuts and cheap packaging isn’t in the new plans. I really dislike having packing slips/info taped outside the package.

my jewelry came in a dirty grey box that looked like someone dug it out of the garbage. I have never seen anything like this. Like how can you trust some of the people they are bringing on when anything they change like the jewelry boxes looks like garbage. The entire top of the box has a black dirty residue on it. When you sent something as a gift you knew that box was topnotch for the jewelry. People buy online when they can trust the product and they only take chances with online stores that have actual physical places you can take the stuff back. Now I am sitting here looking at this box and wondering can I trust them for Christmas gifts if the box for my necklace looks like this. I just ordered jewelry, the venders need to tell HSN no go on these boxes. The box is also deformed and very difficult to open and its not smashed or anything.

I’m sure you’re right- all I know is that several beauty items I’ve received lately (several being Beekman) I’ve had to go through the replacement process a lot lately- and then I feel bad I have to return, however, one order of a large liquid Happy Place item, in the process between UPS to USPS (their cheaper shipping way) my package got destroyed and I had to explain several times to HSN that “I don’t have a product to send back because it got damaged in shipping and UPS threw it out” it’s even in my shipping history- And referring to your envelope incidents, I wondered why my mail smelled so nice, and it was because they put a glass bottle in just an envelope and it broke during shipping and I had oil all over my mail! Lol!
