I think it’s a shame customers are bashing Dimitri James

I remember when he had the Parthena line. I didn’t know he is about my age…..wow!

I turned on HSN a few minutes ago and when I turned the volume on, I was shocked to hear a male voice coming out of a woman’s mouth. I couldn’t tell whether it was a male or female. And then toward the end he or she spelled an expletive which shocked the host who looked around like: are we gonna be in trouble for that? Classless.

I agree. But I do have to say – in case Dimitri sees this, I am upset that I signed up for auto delivery on his dermabrasion TSV and the first time it was to ship it is backdated to May. May? What good does signing up for auto delivery if they can just NOT deliver it, very disappointed and may never purchase an auto ship again if it is not a deal.

In the old days we could believe his products were why his skinn looked so good. Now he has had so much work done how can you believe anything he uses is effective? Things are all way too expensive now since he moved from the other place. Honestly I don’t watch it anymore. He’s had so much stuff done he almost looks comical. I love him as a person but what he’s done to himself cannot help his business at all.

I and my hubby are well past 60 and both our faces simply do not look it. I started with luzier at age 10, have always washed my makeup off every night, do not smoke or drink. I have used Skinn since Evine and my skin looks youthful. My husband has always had nice skin, he doesn’t use anything on it, and it would be incorrect to say he looks 69. He looks fabulous as well. He doesn’t smoke and occasionally has a beer. I think Dimitri is telling the truth that he hasn’t had any surgery. It is very possible to look that good without it.

I like and buy some of his products. But lets be realistic, they are just good , high end skin care products. You can never achieve his level youthful skin by just using his products unless you have some surgical procedures. Let’s be honest and he should too!

I’ve used Dimitri’s skin care line since the Evine days. All of his products are extremely high quality and very helpful for keeping your skin at its best, especially if you’re fighting the aging process. He’s a wonderful, genuine person and animal lover. When I had questions about some products & protocols etc. he actually called me to explain things and was absolutely lovely. He’s said he hates the aging process, I do too…..so whatever he chooses to do is his business. The fact that he’s such a wonderful, caring person is all that matters to me (plus his products are top shelf)…….He’s educated and knows his stuff; he’s a very knowledgeable licensed esthetician with with a heart of gold.

Be kind. We can never assume to know what others are going through. I agree with one post I read. If we cannot be kind then it is better to say nothing at all. Why not improve someone’s day with a kind word and/or a kind gesture instead of taking the chance of ruining someone’s day by being unkind? Talking smack about someone is just being a bully.

I have many Skinn Cosmetic products. I stopped using all for almost a year and recently got back into my skincare routine AM and PM. What a difference. Never walk away if you are a regular customer for you will see. I own almost all Skinn care products and have been using since he was on Evine. Over 10 years it’s been. I am over 70.

I agree with you. I have been a Skinn customer for over 10 years. Dimitri looks so good and is always so cheerful. I believe sure, he has had something done to his face. But lay off criticizing If you don’t like what you see when he is on walk away. He says he has not had anything done so be it. I would say the same. He has lost weight ..does exercises and takes extremely good care of his skin.
I do know Skinn Cosmetics products work. I stopped using for months because of a tragedy and did not care;…but recently started again my routine skin care AM and PM. In just 2 weeks my skin looks amazing and I can see the improvement that Skinn Cosmetics does. . I have been using Skinn since Evine’s days. This is a shopping network and I love Dimitrii and the care he puts into Skinn Cosmetics. The fact that he puts them on his face and shows us all how to apply is great.

I adore Dmitri. He and I are of the same age. I’ve followed him since his days on other channels. He’s always entertained and educated. I love his enthusiasm and my favorite products were the Hydro-Vital line. I was sad when he discontinued that one, but I have found others I love, with the algae oil and moisturizer (though stinky – lol) being just right for my skin. Love Neck Amour, as well. Love Opa, which I resisted trying for 10 years, thinking it would be old lady perfume, but it’s wonderful on. Now awaiting Skinn parfum and his 5 piece eyeshadow collection. Hope I love it.

There is nothing wrong with critiquing a product, but when you attack someone’s personal appearance like a lot of women do on here then you have reached an all time low. Haven’t been here for about two years, and judging by the lack of comments, one can see there is very little interest.

It’s understandable where everyone’s coming from, but it’s important to remember that everyone has their own experiences and opinions. Dimitri James has done a lot for the beauty industry, and many have benefited from his products and expertise. Constructive feedback is great, but it’s best to keep comments respectful and supportive. Better products and innovations are something everyone wants, and a positive dialogue can really help with that. Appreciating the hard work and dedication behind these products while sharing concerns in a considerate way is the way to go.
