Dimitri was on air in Canada
I watched Dimitri on air this passed weekend in Canada. Among many things he talked about, he made a comment that he was previously “giving the farm away” with many of his products. Maybe, he wasn’t sure about how good, or how bad the prices were of his products, and just now realizing it? Anyway, I feel like most of you about all the changes he is making, and I don’t like them either.

I agree with many on here about the price increase with Dimitrii’s move. He is giving up on us so called all who can’t afford paying high price item. He used to always say he is for us and has his products for sale using a price we can afford. But as for me no longer.
I stocked up on many of his items but once they are gone I am moving on to something else. He has quit making so many I used. I too used his products for many years but it seems he is done with those who refused to pay such high prices. I love his products but do believe there are others out there.
Anyone have any suggestions for ones I can start checking into on HSN and Evine for I would appreciate it?-
Nassif MD, Korres, M Asam, Elysee (most on clearance i think)

Dimitri seems to be a smart business man and an excellent salesman. I do not think he makes any comment by accident. We will all see how this plays out. I used Skinn products for many years but the line I used does not seem to be available on HSN, am afraid to buy from Amazon as I fear products are old or expired, and Skinn website is not user friendly. Meanwhile I am using Jordan Samuel skincare which I purchase on line and love it.

That’s interesting DottieK. I actually commented that it may have been that his product was “under” priced while he was at Evine. Maybe it’s because of what I do for a living that makes me look at things differently. Unfortunately, now he has to fight a perception problem with customers thinking they’re now being taken advantage of. Evine didn’t under price Serious Skin Care. Maybe both Dimitri and Evine has learned something. I often think as Evine comes in a far third to QVC and HSN, they want their prices and 6 flex pays be the thing that sets them apart. Which may also be why they are in a far third in profit. That being said, they would have to step up their game quite a bit to justify higher prices.

Dimitri moved from Palm Springs, CA, to Florida. I guess he plans on staying at HSN.

Oh really? I don’t see where he is such a great success on HSN. Some of his products are okay but they don’t warrant the significant price increase being charged. I haven’t bought one item since he’s moved here from Evine.I’ll stick with my regular brands and if I don’t find them here, there’s always the vendor’s own sites, QVC, Ulta or Sephora.
