
Dimitri James and SKINN dermappeal
I have had the 8oz tub of Skinn Dermappeal on autodelivery for a while. HSN cancelled my subscription and now I see he is selling a 6oz tub for $79.99. Now I know why I was cancelled. The product was lowered in amount and literally doubled in price. This is why HSN cancelled my subscription so they could repackage the product and increase the price dramatically. I have used his products for nearly 15 years. No more.

I have nothing against Dimitri. Actually, I learned skincare from him over the years, esp when he was selling thru Evine. Now my skin is changing and I do think his products are changing. They have increased significantly in price. I liked the Dermappeal and the Neck Amour but the prices have doubled. I will use up what I have left and that is it. I simplified my skin routine and now use CeraVe Moisturizer for face and neck and Estee Lauder’s Moisture Rich Foaming cleanser. I also buy EltaMD SPF 50 from my Dermatologist since its cheaper than ordering from Amazon..

now your getting smarter. I been using CeraVe face cleanser and the jar of cream for three years now by my dermatologist and that’s all I use on my face. I also love my Estee lauder which I’ve been using half of my life. I also use Clinique. I never buy any of HSN face products from Dimitri or anyone because they always say it’s for all skin types but never say if it’s for all skin condition! skin type and skin condition aren’t the same. the two are different. skin type is light medium, deep, fair, condition is, dermatologist!! and his products, none are tested by dermatologist. be smart” save your money, and buy at home. I buy Estee lauder and Clinique in Macy’s with my Macy’s card not on HSN.

WOW I am also concerned as several of my Skinn products have been canceled including the 4 oz DermAppeal tubes which I loved for when I went on vacation. It is concerning esp when the product turns up again costing a lot more money. Dimitri & HSN need to address this. I cannot believe the AM/PM facial wash was taken from autoship without notice. I have to go check as I did NOT receive any notification. I truly hope Dimitri will review these concerns and address them!!! Tweak’d by Nature (Denis S.) gives his customers ample warning of price changes often while he is launching many of his products.

It is VERY obvious what is happening with SKINN – dear “old” Dimitri is badly needing the extra $$$ for his new look (hair and clothes) and completely forgetting about his loyal customers. I have had 3 SKINN auto-ships canceled with the products later being sold for twice or three times the previous amount. AND…I, too am sick of Dimitri’s recent arrogant comments — keep it up Dimitri and you will end up losing a great deal of your customers and looking for another channel to sell your products. Remember one thing Dimitri – we customers are NOT the lucky ones. Actually, I feel as though I am the lucky one for never purchasing your products again and moving on to vendors who are more interested in their customers rather than themselves.

They also cancelled the AM/PM cleanser in pump bottles that had been on a TS from last year. No notice. Just cancelled auto ship and nearly tripled the price. A month or so ago, Dimitri was on and made a few arrogant statements of how lucky all of HSN and their customers were that he was there. It was followed by “I know that sounds terrible, but I save your skin”. It didn’t sit well with me when I also have used a number of his products and voted for him. Now this. I’ve started utilizing another line that’s not as costly and not on HSN Good luck with your world travels and designer clothing Dimitri — I won’t be buying your products to support your lifestyle, nor voting for you in the future. The actions are disappointing from both HSN and Dimitri. Customer loyalty is no longer viewed as important. Sad.

Agree 100%…I am done with SKINN. I have been concerned lately with a lot of things…the abrupt cancellation of auto ships….his appearance and wanting people to believe the change is because of his products…ROFL, the pricing going through the roof….Done and Done:) Its a shame because I have been buying his products for almost 10 years…way before they were on HSN, and for the most part , I think they are good products. But I will not be made a fool of.

I did not hear that comment on how lucky we are to have him save our skin. It is my opinion that he is the lucky one for being able sell his products thru HSN to his followers. I can’t say anything about his product line since I don’t use it. And my skin doesn’t need saving. For my age, I must be doing something right.
