Coupon usage

I was watching the Beekman 1802 presentation on 10/11 at approx 2:30am. They were presenting the 13bar gift set. During the presentation the host mentioned if ordered from the app you could use code “add to bag” for a 20% discount. When I tried to place the order, it would not honor the coupon. After calling customer service I was advised the coupon could not be used on the Today’s Special. I did place an order, however I feel it was not clearly presented that there were exclusions to use the coupon, plus they did advertise the coupon during a “Todays Special” presenation. I think it’s somewhat misleading and it was not clearly explained in regards to the exclusions. I believe in this incident, I should get the discount applied to my order.

I received a “birthday coupon” in September. It was only usable for a few days (about 4). As it came unannounced in the middle of the month, I really could not use it. So HSN “awarded” me a birthday coupon that I could only use a few days. Really? All other birthday coupons from other companies are available for use throughout the birthday month and are awarded at the beginning of the month. In the past the HSN birthday coupon could be used all month. HSN coupon was only for $10—-but still. Very disappointed.

I am sorry for the confusion the airing had caused regarding the coupon, @mvstan35771. Sadly, since the coupon excludes the Today’s Special, which is noted in the disclaimer, we would be unable to apply it to your order. However, I will pass your feedback regarding the airing on for you.

All coupons have disclosures stating they cannot be used for certain items, including the TS. The guest and host did clearly say the coupon does not apply to the TS. Yes, her timing was bad, but she did say it does not apply to the TS.
