CONSTANT CANCELLATION OF AUTO-SHIP PRODUCTS
First, it was the cancellation of SKINN auto-ship products, then two weeks ago I received an email that my July 1 shipment of a Nassif cream would not be shipped until November, yesterday another email that a Perlier auto-ship product has been cancelled, and today, another e-mail that the KORRES Elasti-Smooth Body Butter auto-ship has been cancelled. What in the HECK is going on?? With the KORRES auto-ship, I NEVER even received the first auto-shipment. HSN, why are you even offering auto-ship on products that cannot be fulfilled? I am so fed-up with HSN and the way they are treating their customers. Please STOP misleading your customers with all the so-called “fantastic” deals you and your hosts continue to offer, only to renege on so many of the “special” offers.

I dont understand it all! why can’t they just get new product inventory from the vendor to fulfill these existig auto-ship orders? That is how they used to do it. Things have got to change! I started finding alot of the products I use on Amazon now for cheaper prices and as I am a Prime memver NEVER pay shipping.

I DOUBT IT HAS A EXPIRATION DATE BUT I BOUGHT IT ON A FREE SHIPPING DAY — MY SHIPPING WAS $2.00 BUT I CAN ORDER IT TODAY BUT FOR REGULAR SHIPPING OF $7.95 — GO FIGURE!!!!! I ORDERED A SMALL BOTTLE OF ANDREW LESSMAN VITAMINS AND IT WAS GOOD FOR ONLY 4 MONTHS USUALY IT SHOULD BE FOR OVER A YEAR OR SO. I DIDN’T SENT IT BACK BECAUSE I CHECKED TOO LATE. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED. I GUEST HSN DOESN’T WANT TO LOSE MONEY SO THEY SEND OUT OLD SUPPLIES HOPING WE WON’T RETURN IT. I’M THINKING OF ORDERING DIRECTLY FROM ANDREW. Hi “bobzi” –when the info was provided to me on the “old” product issue, I was told to visit CHECKFRESH.COM and check the product production dates on a number of my recently purchased products. The majority of products do not have an actual expiration date, instead they go by a LOT number or a BATCH number. So, for the KORRES Elasti-Smooth Body Butter that I ordered approximately 3 months ago for $19.99 (on auto-ship), the LOT number is 09672. The website will ask you to select the cosmetic brand (scroll down list) followed by adding the LOT or BATCH code from the product bottle. When I checked for the KORRES Body Butter with LOT 09672, the info stated that the production date was 9-6-2020 (3 years – 10 months – 17 days). Also, the CHECKFRESH website provides a full description on how to locate the correct LOT or BATCH numbers on your product bottles, which will help with your search.

Thank you azsun for all the info. I will check out that site on a couple of my products. I do tend to order and stockpile when prices are low. Am rethinking that for sure.

Azsun, Your post sounds like I could have written it. My first pet-peeve was the Skinn products being cancelled and /or being dis-continued, I have used Skinn for years. Same problem with Beekman. I am not happy as I think it also, reflects on the company as well as, HSN. This has made me re-think ordering from these brands, as I now think why bother? It will probably be cancelled.
Don’t get me started on “old” product being sold, I have been aware of this for some time and will not bother. -
Interesting azsn. I always had a feeling that some of the best price offers might be because the products are too old to be sold at a higher price. Most skincare I receive doesn’t seem to have an expiration date that I can find – although I did find one on a Nassif special that was almost expired when received. Don’t know where you got your info but it sounds correct – thank you!

UPDATE: I have just been informed of the reason behind the MANY auto-ship cancellations. The products are OLD and close to expiration. As an example: The KORRES Elasti-Smooth Body Butter, which was a Today’s Special (a few months ago) for $19.99 (and offered on auto-ship) was produced in 2020, therefore, the product is 4 years old. The Nassif Eczema Cream, which was a “super” special of $19.99 approximately 3 months ago (and offered on auto-ship) has an expiration date of October 2024 (stamped on bottom of jar). So, in an attempt to unload all the OLD product (from many vendors), HSN offers “screaming” deals (with auto-ship) and once all the OLD product is gone, ALL auto-ship deals are cancelled. AND…a few months later, the new, fresh batch of products show up again with a much higher price. Really HSN — this is how you treat your customers? WOW — just unbelievable!!

Wow!!! I ordered Perlier Black Rice Ultra Booster Face Serum #286-057 on AS, one in Feb 28, 2024 & another on Jun 10, 2024 for less than $20.00. They were both canceled by HSN within the past week. Had I known they were possible years old stock I would have never purchased them. The Perlier Black Rice Booster Serum product is still being sold but under NEW product number #212-642. I am upset that HSN does NOT inform its customers when the shelve life of ANY product is nearly expired & tricks them into purchasing their OLD products. This is deception & is certainly NOT appreciated!! I have NO proof that HSN actually did this but it makes sense! Customers have a RIGHT to KNOW when products have been sitting in their warehouse for years & the reason it is at an unbelievable price!! I order a lot from HSN & this practice I agree, is NOT acceptable. I wonder IF Perlier is aware of this????

The same thing was just done to me with a Lrssman advance order that was also delayed. I am pretty . HSN clearly doesn’t need my business.

Its not just autoship orders either! I just received an email that an order for Andrew Lessman supplement that was NOT sold out when I ordered it has been cancelled too. It was already delayed by a month, but I was willing to wait. Andrew Lessman has always manufactured products enough to fill orders. What is going on? I am becoming very annoyed with HSN of which I have been a customer for over 30 years. This is NOT acceptable!

Good question! I was just informed that my Nassif eczema creme auto ship was cancelled because the product is being discontinued. I’ve only been getting it for a few months. You would think they would ensure that the product was going to stay viable for a few years before offering it on auto ship.
