I’m sure that sales at HSN have plummeted since the move. You can tell by the hosts like Bobbie Ray and the newer hosts SHOVING things down your throat. The “buy now” PUSHY, PUSHY CAR SALESMAN act is getting old. “BUY NOW…THIS PRICE WON’T LAST…AT MIDNIGHT, THIS IS GOING TO BE…WE’VE NEVER SOLD THIS AT THIS PRICE BEFORE…” REALLY??? RIGHT??? Funny how many prices are the same as they were when initially presented. Funny how prices are the same AFTER midnight, tomorrow, etc. STOP LYING TO PEOPLE!

In defense of car salespersons — they’re actually pretty chill now. Everyone can shop for a car online, everyone can secure their own financing online, every dealership offers pretty much the same discounts … I’ve been to dealerships where I never see a salesman, and I have to go hunt one down. 🙂

@ibbaddict. What Ohio stated is not about changing the channel. It’s about being honest in the presentation. That'[s why we now have a heart for favorites. If the price isn’t right, or it’s about to sell out, we can put the item into Favorites and hope either the vendor adds more or the customer returned it. Saying the price will return to the HSN price at midnight is not always true. Most customers do recall the sale price. Most will vent on a sale item that has gone up in price as a clearance. If the host has lied about the price at midnight or it’s about to sell out and you find out the next day that there are still many left and the price is the same I begin to wonder what else she/he has lied about. This is not the way HSN used to be.

Yes, they are supposed to sell. I’m making an observation that since they changed location, the “hosts” have become extremely pushy. I appreciate your opinion, as you should be considerate of mine. People don’t like things shoved down their throats or false claims made–the point is to be honest and present a great product.
