Today's foil transfer kit

Did anyone else notice that the TS foil transfer kit does not have the tape in it? It has the housing & tips, a mat, and the foil!! But no tape to tape the foil to the mat. Guess it is not useable ‘right out of the box’ after-all!!

I bought my ipad to use to run Design Space and my Cricut maker. Now I bought the foil transfer kit and found out that none of the foil projects can be run by the ipad. NOT HAPPY! I watched all day I don’t remember hearing that the foil projects were not compatible with IOS,
And there is always an “over 2 hour wait” to reach Cricut. I’m disappointed I spent so much money on my Cricut maker and compatible items…..most of it going to HSN…..and can’t use them. May have to return the foil transfer kit since there is no way to contact Cricut without burning up my phone.

I just found out it can only be used with desktop access to design space. No android or iOS support. Tried calling Cricut and was told over a 2 hour wait to talk to someone. So I have no idea when support will be coming.

  They did tell us this during the presentations. You need a desktop or laptop to use it. I thought that might turn a lot of people off. Luckily for me it is not a problem.

the tape is on a 4×6 sheet…not a roll of tape

  Thank you for the information. I see it listed now. I purchased my kit at launch and the display page, at that time, did not include tape in the list of items included.

  Anna said we could also use things like washi tape when this tape is gone. We just need low tack tape.
