HSN Clearance Prices Going UP!!

I was cleaning out some old holiday items from my crawlspace and I found a box that had three snowman in it and the invoice was worth it I paid $3.66 for the item and $.98 shipping it might’ve been 10 years ago but still I was shocked when I saw how cheap the clearance was I remember they used to really mark things down not anymore

It boils down to this for me: I just do not trust HSN. I don’t believe most of the hosts and certainly do not trust their prices. They will do ANYTHING to make a buck. I know they are in business to make money but their unscrupulous practices like you mentioned above are shameful.

I complained about this months ago. Every time there are fashion clearance days, prices get increased by $.50 or a dollar. I guess they think we won’t notice modest increases. Whoever sets policy needs to wake up! When so many people are out of work or on reduced hours, prices should be going down, not up!!! Personally, I cannot stand the crazy numbers on prices. In the “old days” at HSN, Prices ending in a 9 were clearance or on sale and 00 were regular price. Also, sold out items were removed after a number of weeks. I don’t care for “As Is” items and feel they should be ONLY in their own section and not mixed in with first quality merchandise. I am not a customer who likes to buy seconds!

I saw Tula purses go on clearance, and the prices were reduced. Now the purses state clearance, and the prices went back to normal everyday prices. So much for clearance! LOL.
