HSN needs an “Edit Review” Button
Come on, HSN… we need this! I cannot be the only one that doesn’t notice the occasional typo until after posting or that gets “auto-corrected” when writing a review. Seems harmless enough to have the option of editing for 30 minutes after posting. Leaving a mistake unchecked could cost the designer, as well as HSN, and us consumers. I for one, do put stock into the opinions of my fellow shoppers. If I see one that says an item runs long/short after stating she’s my height, I might choose to order accordingly… when it could all be based on a mistake in her review. Returning would cost me and HSN. HSN should seriously consider it… Does anyone else agree? (Needless to say, I just mistakenly posted that an item runs long– Imam’s jeans which are in all actuality “just right”!)

Yes!! I have made mistakes even with the amount of stars I gave and hate I am unable to correct it.

Absolutely need an edit button that is available long term. Things change, things happen, and if someone wants to take the time to edit or update a review, HSN should give us that option.

I completely agree, I had something helpful to add to other buyers (a size detail) about a shoe review that I just posted and cannot add another review or edit existing. If reviews are audited, how can this be a problem?

I agree that I would like to edit it later after it has been used to make the review more specific..

Yes Shanael_95..I hear you about an edit/review button..think it’s a good idea..case in point you misspelled Iman in your closing thread..no biggie and we all do it ,every once in awhile..but we want to be understood.🤭;^)

Totally agree, I just reviewed a pair of sketchers and autocorrect misspelled a few words. I also wanted to add another comment. We need an edit button!

Agreed. It can go either way. I don’t understand why you cannot.

Agree, along with updates. I purchased the Wolfgang Puck 1700-Watt 23-Liter Air Fryer/Oven with Rotisserie in March 2020 and went out today. Did not last long before it broke and it’s not working any longer. I wish HSNwould allow updates.

There should be an edit review button, but not just for 30 minutes. On amazon, you can edit a review indefinitely, and also on sitejabber, just to name two. I feel like I’m the only one who proofreads what I write, but even then I still occasionally notice a mistake later. There are also occasions when a change of review might be relevant later, such as after using an item for a while and finding out it doesn’t perform well or last long.

100% right! Not only to correct typos, but what about an item you loved and gave a 5-star review with accolades in your write-up, only to find this item just stopped working!! Ridiculous to not allow an “EDIT” button, or at the very least allow a reviewer to post a “FOLLOW-UP” review after an original. i purchased an item that I loved and gave it a great review, and now I wish I could tell people that it stopped working very quickly.
Hey, it could also be a positive thing! Let’s say you originally didn’t love your new item and wrote a bad review, but then decided “You know, this works pretty well after all”! You can’t even write a follow-up. Dumb decision on HSN’s part.
