Packages are being held up between the local post office and the customer

Newsworthy article would would explain why Hsn customer service sent me an email saying my package would arrive today (2 days ago) has not yet arrived but being held up at the local post office. Apparently Mr. President feels the USPs should triple their rates, and is currently withholding their Coronavirus Aid and quickly replacing key members with his appointees. I never thought of my Hsn pieces as hostages. If indeed the USPS postal rates are impacted this may very well impact my shopping. I am not trying to take sides or be political so do not shoot the messenger.
