Wake Up Call!
One more thing and then I am done with HSN. If you want a real wake up call get your invoices out from the last craft day and compare them to the orders you just placed from this craft day under “order status” and then the “order number”. It’s right there in black and white the exorbitant increase in taxes AND shipping. There was even a “shipping savings” column on the last one. It made me a sick looking at what they just did to us. Especially for the customers that did not and have not yet, caught it. Off to Create & Craft – Dish channel 221. Take care everybody!

I have noticed that they also include your shipping fee total not just your products purchased total in the tax calculation, which really adds up! I have decided from now on to “save” my favorite craft items under my account favorites section and only purchase them IF they go on sale AND they are running a free shipping or $5 shipping promo. I can’t justify paying all that extra money.

I also only purchased 2 items with $3.50 shipping when I normally buy many items.
I agree with everything said except QVC did not buy HSN. HSN was bought by the same parent company that owns QVC, Zulily and several other online retail shopping.

I vote for inept.

I didn’t wait for an invoice. looked at my shopping cart and saw what they were going to charge me. Then I deleted all but two items in my cart. The two I kept had $3.50 shipping. Somehow I knew this was coming. Since QVC has bought HSN, HSN is no longer a good place to shop. My only uncertainty is whether QVC is deliberately trying to bankrupt HSN or if the execs really are that inept.

Oh my gosh, for the 100th time, QVC did not take over HSN. They are owned by the same parent company who also owns Zulily and a number of other companies.
-
The parent company that owns QVC bought HSN, and the channel has deteriorated ever since. That company’s flagship is QVC., with other acquisitions like Zulily subsequent. Your point is a matter of semantics. To claim that QVC didn’t buy HSN is false.
I’m glad you’re happy with the changes at HSN. That makes one.
