avoid click bait file corrupt scam
Once yesterday and once today a click bait scam popped up while I was playing OUTSPELL. It said that my files had been corrupted, started a 20 second countdown for destruction, and provided a downloadable supposed protection. I closed out. I had not clicked on anything except the letter tiles. We ran a check by the service we pay for and no problem was found in our thousands of files. Be careful when navigating this site and game, and do not download that “correcting” file. I am becoming very concerned about this site and the suspicious advertisements that HSN accepts, as they seem to be putting us at risk.

This corrupt message pops up no matter what game you are playing, hope no one clicks on it. HSN really needs to address this issue because these links if you click on them can hold your entire computer for ransom, with the virus. Norton users beware, they do not contact you in this manor and if you , (anyone), gets this pop-up, close out immediately. Then go check your own virus protection, make sure it says your up to date with protection.

This morning, trying to play Mahjong Solitary, I had corrupt scam file come up right after starting to play the game. Tried couple of times to play and each time after getting into the site, the corrupt scam file came up. I just click out and scanned my computer each time for scam files. My computer is safe. This needs to be address! I had no problems playing Mahjong off and on yesterday.

I agree – I have had the same issue with Ice Cream Blast the last several days – claims my Norton needs to be updated – I don’t use them – I have another protector and my machine is in good order.

HSN please address this problem now! Clean up your sight!

Wow, thank you! I have always been concerned about those ads and never clicked on one. I
would think HSN knew what they were putting on the screen. Just another thing to worry about. -
Thanks for the heads up.
