Order Canceled/Christmas Present ruined.

I have been a long time customer of HSN. My mother introduced me when I was in high school. I’m sure together we have spent thousands and thousands of dollars. I’ve enjoyed watching with my mom, and seeing what Colleen is modeling or what fun guests are on. Recently (11/3/19) I saw a new computer being advertised, and I jumped at the chance to get it. It was the most beautiful laptop I’ve ever seen. Copper with Marble detailing. My boyfriend was gracious enough to offer to buy it for me as my Christmas gift as he knew I’m back in school and need a laptop. The order was confirmed and said we should expect delivery 11/13/19. Yesterday evening I asked him to check on the status of the shipping as I didn’t want there to be a problem with the delivery. That is when we discovered the order had been canceled with no explanation. Panicking we called the customer service line to find out we could not get through until tomorrow. He called first thing in the morning, and they gave him a verification line to call. They didn’t even bother calling him back! To say I was devastated is putting it mildly. I loved that laptop, and I’ve always had a great experience with HSN–So I couldn’t believe they wouldn’t even bother calling to notify us of such a change in order status. We have literally no recourse, and as the laptop is now sold out we have nothing we can do. I have to make other plans for my school projects, and the Christmas gift I was so excited about is ruined. I can’t even begin to say how disappointed I am. I don’t think I can/will be doing any more shopping with HSN… Which is also devastating to me.

    I’m sorry for the disappointment with this, @shopgirl309. Decisions from our verification team can only be resolved by speaking with them directly. I would suggest he calls back during normal business hours and speaks with them directly to see if it can be resolved. I will also forward your feedback on the communications to our leadership teams for you.
