Trac fine additional 1000 text for $5.00

Recently purchased 2 Trac Fones and when I called to get additional text for my granddaughter’s phone they said it would be $90 not $5 nothing came in the box about it when purchased however it was one of the perks while the host was showing all the perks . Thanks for your help

@giabella, I don’t know who you called, but you can get Tracfone 1000 text cards for $5 from Walmart, Best Buy and Amazon, just to name a few. Walmart emails the code to you.

  Called tracfone directly and they gave that crazy price.

  Be VERY careful. Sometimes people may look online for a direct customer service number, and somehow third party companies manage to get their numbers put in the search results first. They will actually answer via the company’s name but may not be employed by them. You MIGHT have called one of these companies who would have charged your card (if you had given it to them) the $90 and you would not have seen any new texts. This happens quite a bit.
