Diane Gilman and Suzanne Runyan
Was it just me, or was anyone else annoyed that they constantly talked over each other?
I couldn’t hear one conversation from the other. Don’t they realize that someone else is speaking or don’t they give a dang?
I had to turn it off – It seems to be happening with other vendor’s and hosts.
Jay had to fight for conversation yesterday too, I forget the host.
I will just turn it off from now on when it happens, don’t really need any more jeans anyway.

Diane and Suzanne are friends ands understand each other. They are both talkers and that’s what happens. It’s not that big a deal for me. When any of the HSN hosts get on my nerves I turn the show off.

Suzanne should be known as “Motor Mouth” or “Marathon Mouth.” Take your pick. I have to side with Diane. I wish the hosts would REALIZE that the designers or guests know more about their product than they do so let them take the lead. We are more interested in what the guest has to say than what the hosts have to dribble out. I’m surprised Diane doesn’t insist on having a host on with her other than Motor Mouth. As far as talking over each other, most of us learned at a VERY young age, that if someone is talking, you don’t interrupt. It’s called courtesy. (I doubt that Motor Mouth has ever heard of that word let along what it means.) Suzanne and other hosts don’t care if you are talking. They feel that they are more important than the guest so, of course, what they have to say is important than anything you have to say. If I was in charge of HSN and/or QVC, several of the hosts would be out of a job. Just sayin’

I had to come back and respond after reading about how Diane & Suzanne were doing the same thing 4 weeks ago.
I had no idea there was such a rudeness to the situation, beyond “talking over” each other.
Yes, Diane is a recovering cancer survivor – my mom, dad and sister succumbed to cancer and they were not rude or inconsiderate while recovering.
I’ll just mute the sound from now on and/or go online.

I am surprisrd they paired them together after the way Diane treated Susan 4 weeks ago….they need to be a little better collaboration between the the host and the vendor….speaking over each other and the off the cuff comments shows the lack of professionalism it detracts from from giving us the viewer/consumer the shopping experience….shopping has lost its appeal to me, between seeing this going on and several of my designers not coming back or HSN not being transparent about the the changes (Iman) HSN will lose customers..I know I havent purchased anything in the last few months!
