I created and started this thread nearly 14 years ago. 😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish a great Season to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎I have been shopping and posting on HSN since the late
90’s 😎I have wonderful memories from the HSN we all know and love.

Peace Out Peeps have a safe and cool evening. 😎🎈

Rose Maiden in the Vortex of Time
There is a poignant beauty in the way time escapes us, much like rose petals drifting from the stem before we can truly etch their essence into memory. We often move too fast, chasing shadows ahead while ignoring the gentle touch of reality dissolving behind us. A missed moment is not merely the loss of time, but the echo of an embrace that never happened, leaving a longing felt only by those who have learned the quiet art of looking back. -

Autumn Leaves – Nat King Cole
The falling leaves drift by the window
The autumn leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sun-burned hands I used to hold
Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I’ll hear old winter’s song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I’ll hear old winter’s song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall -

Enjoy these last days of summer. 🎈💕

Always enjoy what you do. 😎💕

Blooming Radiance and Hope
Treat every challenge as a canvas and your spirit as the brush; paint a bright future with courage that never fades. -

-

Harmony in Silence
Inner peace is not the absence of sound, but the courage to listen to the deepest whispers amidst the world’s clamor. It is like a rose that continues to bloom beautifully even as its petals begin to drift away with the wind, an acceptance that everything ephemeral possesses its own eternity within memory. When we are able to make peace with the turbulence in our hearts, every breath becomes a poem celebrating life, weaving the fragments of ourselves into a complete painting filled with the colors of serenity. -

Blooming Beyond Boundaries
Ambition is not merely a desire to win, but the courage to weave each strand of passion into invisible wings. Like petals blooming in the heart of a storm, we are a tapestry of colors refusing to stay still; we are motion transcending the horizon, transforming limitations into an endless canvas where the wildest dreams find their most eternal form. -

Harmony Beneath the Petals of Fate
Amidst the falling petals and the diverging lines of time, we stand as invisible weavers of destiny. Every blooming rose represents a choice, while the direction in which those petals drift in the wind is the mystery of fate that we can never fully predict. Life is not about resisting the current, but about how we color each breath amidst the dance between what is written and what we strive for. -

NATIONAL SPICE BLEND DAY
If an alluring aroma of spices is tempting your senses on September 4, that is because it is National Spice Blend Day. Home cooks and professional chefs alike know herbs and spices bring our favorite foods alive on our palates. In fact, every recipe, every food blog, and every cook stresses the importance of quality herbs and spices for everything you cook.
-

NATIONAL CHIANTI DAY
The first Friday in September each year ushers in a celebration worthy of a toast. National Chianti Day recognizes the most-recognized red wines from the Tuscany region of Italy.
Always leading with the Sangiovese grape, the ruby red wine is famous worldwide. The iconic Gallo Nero log and a black rooster inside a red circle represent Chianti Classico. While Chianti is most associated with Tuscany, the smaller Chianti Classico region, located between Florence in the north and Siena in the south, is the historical heartland and most-respected area for red wines.
-

NATIONAL FOOD BANK DAY
National Food Bank Day on the first Friday in September encourages you to commit to contributing to the cause that believes no one should go to bed hungry.
Hunger may be as close as your neighbor or your coworker in the next cubical. Bare cupboards and empty stomachs look just like yours and mine behind closed doors.
-

NATIONAL WILDLIFE DAY
National Wildlife Day on September 4th encourages improved awareness of the species around us and in the broader world.
This National Day focuses on endangered species, preservation, and conservation efforts around the world. Zoos, aviaries and marine sanctuaries provide a variety of ways to get involved.

-

NATIONAL LAZY MOM’S DAYDuring the first Friday in September, National Lazy Mom’s Day delegates everyday mom jobs to someone else.
Busy moms know that the work of being a parent is never done. However, occasionally parents need to recharge. The laundry and the dishes will be there later. When possible, finding someone to watch the children for a few hours is worth it. Sometimes all a mom needs is a nap. Other times, mothers (and fathers too) seek adult conversation.
-

NATIONAL MACADAMIA NUT DAY
National Macadamia Nut Day on September 4th recognizes a delicious nut found in many baked goods and desserts.
Delectable macadamia nuts have a creamy buttery taste. These nuts add a subtle richness to everything they grace. Also versatile, macadamia nuts originated in Australia. They were named for the physician and chemist, John Macadam, who discovered them. Macadam also pursued furthering the cultivation of the tree in Australia, making it more abundant.
-

NATIONAL NEWSPAPER CARRIER DAY
National Newspaper Carrier Day on September 4th recognizes the dedicated newspaper carriers who deliver the news in the wee hours of the morning.
A lot has changed since the first newspaper carrier. Not only have the routines changed, but their methods and the age of the people delivering has changed, too. However, the newspaper carrier still exists in some form. Each and every newspaper carrier owe their start to an enterprising young immigrant in New York City over 180 years ago. As the tradition gradually fades, their history becomes no less fascinating.
-

NATIONAL COLLEGE COLORS DAY
On the Friday before Labor Day, National College Colors Day encourages everyone to display their team spirit. Across the United States students, parents, family, fans, and alumni will be wearing their team colors. Be sure you’re celebrating by wearing your college team’s colors and apparel.
Team spirit has long been a foundation of cheering athletes to victory. Wearing the colors of the school as well as singing the school song goes along with the energy of the day. Not only does it bring back memories, but it carries on traditions. Sometimes, these traditions run deep, too.

Sometimes healing is realizing we have become the person we once searched for—the one who protects our peace, honors our worth, and refuses to abandon us. We may still need others, but we no longer have to wait for someone else to make us feel whole.
-

Welcome Pirate Girl to the Village—a woman born from a name once spoken with love. Her words became sharp because, in that season, they needed to save her. She learned to speak boldly, stand behind her truth, and make every word count. Time has softened her edges, but it has never taken away her courage. She carries both the blade and the blossom.
-

Sometimes love asks us to stay, and sometimes it gives us the courage to walk away. Saying no does not erase the love we carried. Letting go does not mean it was never real. It means we have accepted that love should not require us to abandon our safety, peace, or dignity. Some endings are also doors to healing.
-

Some hardships may leave permanent marks, but they do not prevent us from becoming stronger. We repair what we can, adapt to what remains, and keep showing up—even when progress feels small. If all you accomplished today was making it through, let that count. You are still here, still trying, and that is worthy of recognition.
AMEN! 😎
-

Healing does not need to be rushed, and kindness should never require self-abandonment. Love deeply, but protect your peace. Help when you can, but honor your limits. Stay open to growth without overwhelming yourself. Healthy boundaries are not walls against love—they are gates that teach others how to enter your life with respect.

Good day and OZ is in triple digits as we will be all weekend and all next week.
I am still doing this thread with my eyes closed. 😎🎈My way of saying my head
still hurts a bit. Oh well moving on..Welcome to the new thread I logged on today and saw that it needed changing. 😎
Welcome to the new month and Happy Labor Day Weekend. 🎈😎
I hope you are feeling better too if you are still raining enjoy it. We need rain very much
here in OZ and it will come when Mother Nature is ready. LOL! -
When I signed on last night everything was OK with your thread. Then I checked later and it was topsy turvy. I do not think it was anything. I just chalked it up that the area was having some problems due to weather. Seems Florida isn’t the only ones with heat and humidity. Looks like the East coast is having some problems as well. Who knows????
My head is splitting as well. I am using one eye to type and have been for weeks. No rain is expected today, but my head says differently.
I-95 is OK, but the traffic gets to you. I enjoy our scenic route which not only takes us through the mountains but also off the beaten track are caves to visit and to see. Going through Ct. and
NY, you only have the food courts for rest areas and eating. We often went off the highway to find food and of course pay the toll. The route we use has one toll and tons of places to choose to eat and rest. There are shops as well to walk around or stop to purchase. Numerous hotels/motels to make your stay more adventureous.Vermont is a lovely State. Great views and scenic routes. Before leaving check out I-91 from Ct..
Yankee Candle is off this route. I’m not sure if you can still see it from the highway. Vermont and Maine are very picturesque with quaint shops and country stores. There is much to see and do in New England and one week is not enough time to get off the beaten path to smell the roses. This is something hubs and I enjoyed doing during the spring and summer months before heading South. Our favorite market in that area is Market Basket. This store starts in Rhode Island and there are many more in Mass., and Vermont. It is as close to a Farmer’s Market as you will see when adventuring. I’m sure your daughter has been to one in or near the Boston area. They have a great story and family history. Their history is online and is a great read. -
Good Evening I am going to sign off my head is aching and I am about to take
some meds you bet it’s the weather.
I love your trip down memory lane and may you see all that beauty again. 🎈

Good morning in S. California have a great Labor Day Weekend. 😎🎈

Sheba, sorry you aren’t feeling well. Assuming it’s the weather. Take it easy.
