TINA JENNINGS WITH DIMITRI OF SKINN
During the 8/10 SKINN TSV, it was almost unbearable to watch Tina hosting with Dimitri. She was acting like a 5 year old with a squealing, high-pitched voice instead of speaking like the 46 year old adult she actually is. Trying to sound excited in a loud, raised voice about the TSV but it was so loud, so phony and so annoying – constantly talking over and drowning out Dimitri while he was explaining the ingredients, benefits of the product and how to correctly use the product being sold. Plus telling us they were going for a “tinkle break”….once again – are you 5 years old? Does she think she sounds cute? I personally tune in for the company presenter (Dimitri in this case) and their expertise on the products. Not her or her annoying method of selling. She brings nothing of value to the presentations. She needs some lessons from a more professional host.

Amy Morrison where are you? You are missed.
-
Either way she needs to keep her composure in tack-and treat the seller with respect.
That is her job. Sorry that Dimitri had to go through that. -
Misery I guess have a lot of company!

She was shrill, but she was also on for 5 hours yesterday with a two hour break in between Skinn shows. That is UNHEARD OF for any host on any of the networks. I will give her lots of grace for that. However, that’s also the way she can be. But she gave D his time, and reeled him in when she had to. He’s a hard one to control when he’s on a roll. That is part of his charm!

Oh WOW I didn’t realize she was on for 5 hours!! That is crazy!!

She was downright “SHRILL”…I miss Amy Morrison.

Tina was on with D twice yesterday, she did get to be a bit over the top. I use many of D’s products but Dermapeel is not one of them, way too much peppermint and menthol and baking soda is not great for the skin, I find it leaves a film on my face.

I like Tina when she is/was paired with the right person. When she was paired with Ty, I could not take her performances. I stopped watching the morning show for that reason. When she hosts by herself, she seems much calmer and more professional. She may be feeling the strain of a new environment. I did not see the above referenced presentation as I do not buy his skin care products. I hope she calms down and regains her composure.

I tried his DermaApeal when he was on HSN. But that facial product contains ingredients dangerous to put on your face, near your eyes, nose and mouth, because they are such harsh ingredients: peppermint oil and menthol, to name just a few. Who would put such strong ingredients in a product that comes so near your eyes? I dumped mine immediately and would put that product nowhere near my body. There are many other safer products if you want a mild dermabrasion.

I find her thoroughly unwatchable.
Dimitri is like Andrew Lessman – they’re excellent educators. I like his products. I also like his gold gorgeous Rolex watch.-
Yes that watch is gorgeous! I could listen to him talk about the products on and on for hours….. He seems put off with Tina interrupting him😬 I hope she just lets him talk more because he knows his products so well and like you said, is a true educator 👍 He almost doesn’t need a host with him!

Thank you for raising this. I never post and have been with HSN for over 25 years. I thought it highly inappropriate with the ‘go tickle’ comment, demeaning and not respectful of the Dimitri or the public forum. I have never heard a host say this before. SO INAPPROPRIATE. This is something you say with besties in a side conversation – NOT on a professional public stage. More training is needed and yes, not talking over the host and being more genuine. Sorry – again I have never posted on the Community, but thought – was it just me feeling this way…

I agree. I felt so embarrassed for Dimitri when Tina announced he was going to take a “tinkle break”. I changed the channel after that. I am a big fan of DermAppeal so I had already purchased the today’s special. I normally like Tina, but today she was very silly.

Good for her.. trying to talk about Derma Appeal the best stuff on earth is hard to do! It’s no miracle and it terrible,in my opinion. It’s not the greatest and far from it!!

Huh?
-
When you have a second maybe you can explain your Huh! Comment.

I totally agree. I turned the volume off so I would not have to listen to her talk over Dimitri. Then she started swinging her hips trying to get attention in any way possible. She tried that same move the other day with the DG2 jeans. Not interested Tina. Now back to throwing her arms all over the place. Have never seen a person who cannot talk without using their arms.
