Models with microphones
I really find it annoying when Colleen has her models saying how much they love her clothes. I’m sorry but do you really think we believe every item they are wearing is just so perfect. It is very insulting to now have models wearing microphones and lying to us when it is so obvious that the outfit being worn looks ridiculous. Bad enough the host lie but get the microphones off the models please

I like hearing what they have to say about the clothing as well. I like hearing what their voices sound like.

I like hearing the models. It breaks up some of the craziness of the hosts and vendors.

I agree models should stay in their lane. we as consumers like what we like, we do not need models or vendors making decisions for us. more info should be shared example what is the fabric dress is made of. also jewelry needs more information on show, not everyone has the internet. I am sure hsn will critique a lot when they move. overall I am a happy customer for many years. p.s. Colleen has come a long way and makes lot’s of money for hsn.

Agree! It’s not that we don’t care what they think but let’s be honest, who is going to say anything negative when you put them on the spot of something they are wearing? It’s disingenuous. And seems so uncomfortable.

Back in the day, when clothing was being sold on HSN (and QVC as well), a lot of attention was given to fabric content, fit, etc. Now it seems just to be about how wonderful the clothing is. I want to know what it’s made of–all cotton, cotton blend, polyester, etc.

Lauren just said the Beekman Bloom Cream gives her goose bumps, it’s so good. Oh, please.

Overdone raving is a turn off for me. I can see whether an item appeals to me or not What I want to hear is whether the models stayed true to size or sized up or down. I also appreciate knowing whether the material is clingy because that matters! The host could ask the models those questions without prompting them to rave.

I stopped watching Colleen years ago. Everytime Andrew Lessman had a TS, Colleen overreacted. It was so phony.
Then I saw her do a jewelry show and she loved every piece aired. She lost all credibility with me.-
Of course Colleen is going to rave about the items. It’s money in HER pocket. She cannot be objective when it’s her stuff she’s selling. I have a real problem with that conflict of interest. Have her as a guest and have a full time host join her to move things along.

Paula595, Agree! Talk about putting someone on the spot.

I agree, with regard to beauty shows.

Hello I agree! It’s not that we don’t want to hear the opinions it’s just that when models are saying how much they love XYZ so often it becomes unbelievable, of course they are going to agree. There is nothing special they say to help me decide on a purchase.
